Less than great. I have the better version Tronic charger with the LCD and usb charger ports and that's not great, because if your batteries run ultra low it won't charge them.

Same with my other older Tronic charger which I got prior to the latest, it has the same issue. If I take ultra low batteries and chuck them in either Tronic charger it's hit or miss as to whether they will charge.

If I chuck my ultra low batteries in my LiitoKala smart chargers they charge and work fine every time.

'Smart charger': unless it sees something to charge, it doesn't charge.
I had one of those. Chronic badge again.
Another of the breed thought 7.3 volts was enough to charge a (nominal) 9v battery.
got one of this from lidl, compare with my techno line bc1000 aa/aaa charger. its not that good
Apart from it charge different size cells and battery level icon charge indicators, some of my battery stay charging for ages without stop. i.e the red led stay on a very long time with out turning green, put the same battery in the bc1000, never had problem.
Any way to tell online whether this may be in my local store?

Exactly! I have the same problem. I also have to put them in a different charger for a few minutes to get some power in them if they are low before the tronic will charge them. I also have the one with the LCD display.
Whatever batteries I put in there is is showing charged after like 20-30 minutes. Useless
