When it comes to chargers, especially ones that deliver a lot of power quickly, I'd always prefer a brand name or at least from a well known trustworthy UK store.

Last thing you want is either a charger that spies on your phone or one that explodes due to faulty wiring.

Agree, as far as I see this Chinese brand is a better one. Positive reviews at many places. Chinese brands like Anker, Aukey, Ugreen, Xiaomi have proved FOR ME already. This doesn't mean I leave any charger unattended… Also, we have seen so many exploded batteries coming from much much bigger- better known brands so, it is always a risk, isn't it?
It would be much better coming with usb type A socket, I don't have single type C to c cable that I could use with this, plenty A to C...
Could use this for laptop charger as looking PD charger..

This is an 18 W charger. Do you think that would be sufficient ?

But then it wouldn't have Power Delivery.

No. I've never heard of a laptop which consumes such little power.

Yes it would, a good grade usb 3.1 cable can push up to 60w of power and it doesn't have anything to do with type of plugs . Type of plug matters if you want to use usb3.1/2 specific features ex. Ethernet over usb or display port/hdmi over usb.

Interesting - which devices which support Power Delivery have USB A outlets? USB A was not designed to support this sort of power.
usb c is out of stock with Uk plug so managed to find type a instead,AEXP7 $4 off $5 spend which brought down to $3.92/£2.94
sadly can't find a worthwhile coupon now but $6.91 still reasonabl price for such a good charger (I added an almost free reduced usb-c 2 usb-c to)
