These are new to my local store, 40p a can or £1 for 4 is a bargain for what is a very nice tasting root beer. Not on offer but could be new to other stores.

Root beer in macdonalds was the best. The 80's were good fun too!
Why don’t McDonald’s fetch the root beer back during their American theme seasons?

This is as good if I'm honest, far far better than that carters attempt, best drank chilled or with ice =)

Because it would be a crime against humanity.

Would be common sense and it would sell really well I'd bet.
I love root beet - will definitely be on the hunt for these when I'm next in Sainsbury's

I'm not a big fan of Bundaberg - so hopefully more akin to my taste buds. Fave is A&W which I pick up at the international food shop... Can't wait to try this and stock pile. Sainsbury's did start very briefly selling 2L bottles a few years ago too....

I think as you like the A&W like myself you will find this too sweet and sickly. I made the mistake of buying a couple of tins and couldn't wait to finish.
The one Tesco sell by 'Virgils' is good and there is one sold in 'Ed's Easy Diner' restaurant (Euston) that you may like if your anywhere near there.
I'm always on the lookout for Root Beer when dining out.lol
I tried this stuff for the first time few months back, I can see why its not popular here.... it tastes like mouthwash! I'm assuming in murica the mouth wash tastes different to ours.
I think anything sold over here is going to average but worth a pop for 40p. I'm more a fan of the imported stuff, Mug is my fave

God I love the Carters stuff, but it doesn't come close to the Boylans. Don't like the Bundaberg as it has ginger in it.
got sweeteners so won't be a good taste. Carters is terrible, and Bundaberg isn't great at all either.

You have to get USA made, as it is a US drink.

Aside from Tesco world food section selling Boylan bottled root beer (which is US and so the real deal) A&W is almost always sold at Chinese supermarkets 99p a can.
FYI: Throughout 2017 at least, this has also been available in Tesco Extra in "World Foods" aisle at around this price.
Have had a few of the imported root beers recently.
Quite liked the Boylan ones Tesco had (£1.50 though) and the Virgil one is OK.
Still the Diet A&W is the best IMO - about £1/can at various world foods sections in garden centres.
At 40p a can, this is the best root beer I've had and to me, is most comparable to A&W. I was a big fan of Barq's root beer in the US as I liked that strong flavour. Boylans was good for the cane sugar but too costly for my liking. M&S had a root beer too, but that was like £2.00 a small bottle, even though it was good.
