HOT ! ! only ever buy tropicano juice when it works out at £1.50/bottle

If I remember correctly from being in asda this morning I think the whole 1L pure range is on offer at £1.50/bottle

My favourite is golden grapefruit, it's yummy ! Time to stock up to the use by date

I can confirm that these were on offer for £1.50 in Bletchley ASDA this morning.

I much prefer the Tesco own brand equivalent these days, saves a lot of money too.

Tesco one is rotten. Doesn't taste like fresh orange juice at all IMO

My main problem with fresh juice is that it never quenches my thirst. I enjoy it , but I'm left needing a drink which kinda defeats the object.

At the other end, I've always hated traditional juice from concentrate, it has a terrible after taste - I'd rather drink water.

In the middle is the fairly new Tesco stuff, Sainsbury's and Morrison's have their own equivalents that are also knows. Taste like fresh orange juice but without making your tongue all dry - it's a great drink.

99p in H'west 99p shop this am - where else??

I used to drink it myself, untill i find out its NOT pure 100% juice, pressed from oranges. Its full of chemicals and water and god knows what else... Just try to make your own orange juice and feel the difference.

People do spread some nonsense. Nothing like a few "chemicals" to make a good scare story.

Are you one of these people that believes there is no chicken in KFC too?

Edit - Hold on, are you talking about the Tesco juice? Or just the Tropicana style juices in general? For sure, none of these are pure orange juice squeezed into a carton, Florida oranges don't even grow in Winter so it's not possible. My point here is that both the own brand and branded orange juices are reconstituted in the same way and that does indeed involve some "chemical" additives.
