Hmmmmm i have tropico 3 i have to decide if to get it for 4 ?
Tropico 4 is the Vanilla edition and does not include the Modern Times dlc....
Tropico 4 is very good, as for the DLC only Modern Times is worth a punt, all the other DLC is just fluff.
The dlc breaks the game making it a lot less challenging.
whats Tropico reloaded like?? anyone played?
Absolutely sticking deal. I've been waiting for a good deal on Tropico and it doesn't get any better than this.

Edit: 'Stonking' deal. I don't even have any autocorrect to blame.

Not sure whether to go for this or the Tropico 4 + DLC bundle posted the other day for £4.85.

If I buy this pack, I'll probably start with Tropico 4 and then never bother with the earlier ones.
Was just going to post this, but used the search function :O
$8.45 to get all games now! Still going up!

Personally I preferred Tropic 3 to Tropico 4. There's a lot to be said for just getting to the point.

I just want 4

Not worth it anymore, Tropico isn't worth anything and 4 is without dlc; $8.92...no thanks!

$9.03 now and it says not to use @me, @mac or @icloud addresses (christ knows why), I'll give this one a miss.
Can somebody please explain how to get these games for the price above? The link doesn't seem to be working for me?

The $1 is for the FIRST Tropico which is barely worth freeware. You want Tropico 4 you pay a £6+
Getting cheaper again, $7.79 (£5.01) for 4.

$7.88 now
I paid $8.00 (£5.00) to get the lot. Well worth it...
Great game, definitly worth buying
I'm curious about something. Why would you want all four versions of the game? Are they that different to one another? I'd assume that the later versions are more refined versions of the same game. Is there a reason to want them all? I'm not mocking or anything, I'm genuinely intrigued.

Reloaded is pretty old, unless you already remember them and want them for nostalgia then odds are you won't want them.

3 and 4 are very similar. 4 is much easier for new comers to the series to learn to play though with a better tutorial and more direction to it.

As well as the sandbox mode, the games have a campaign so there's your reason for having more than one of them. The same reason more than one of any other game exists. You want more content to play through.

The problem with this bundle is:
Reloaded, as mentioned above, is old.
3 really requires you to buy the expansion to play it as its best.
with 4, the DLC and expansion is more optional for campaign play. But if you do want it after finishing the main campaign, particularly the expansion, it's cheaper to buy the collectors bundle in a sale - which makes the base game you bought in this bundle a waste.

In short, this whole bundle looks a lot cheaper than it probably really is going to end up being long term!

Thanks for the reply I'd heard that 3 was harder to get into as well. I've never tried the series, but I might just hang on for a Steam sale on 4 someday. I'm in no rush.
