S1. One of my top five TV seasons ever. And I have watched a lot of TV series and seasons.
But it did take me three attempts to get through the first episode.
This is not standard binge watch stuff - take your time.
S1E4 is possibly the best episode of any TV series I have ever watched. (edited)
Season 1. Then stop. Season 2 is hot garbage and there’s only really one scene in season 3 worth watching.
This seems to be the prevailing sentiment buti don't agree. I think a lot of it is bias because 2 followed 1 and therefore was seen as a disappointment, whereas 3 followed the "disappointment" and was seen as a return to form.
Firstly we can all agree that Season 1 is the best. Of course that's not saying much because I'd argue it's one of the best seasons of television full stop.
Secondly I would say that neither of the following seasons come close to it. So set your expectations accordingly.
Thirdly, as above, try and look at the seasons objectively not compared to what came directly before. They are after all anthology seasons.
Having said all that I thought Season 2 was pretty good, the performances from the actors were generally good and I surprisingly didn't hate Vince Vaughn in it. The plot was a little all over the place but had some intriguing elements. Season 3 I think was carried hard by the performances of the leads which were empowered by the time jumping elements. The story however I think was by far the weakest and (spoilers) the pay off at the end was... well it wasn't even a pay off? Really poor ending I thought. You could tell in the last couple episodes there was no big ending gonna happen. I reckon they had Rian consulting to subvert expectations.
tl;dr Season 2 is worth watching it's just no where near as good as Season 1, but then neither is Season 3
How they can make money?
Thanks Mate
Ordered thanks mate
Thanks great to know not having watched a single episode yet
Season 1 episode 2 is what you want to watch
Because more people liked it than didn't like it.
As a newbie to this series what is the best order to watch?
Edit - back in stock again (edited)

Ordered thanks
Season 2 was phenomenal in its own right.
Vince Vaughn & Collin Farrell gave top notch performances.
Season 1 is the best but don’t take anything away from Season 2 it’s a great crime show.
Season 3 is a disaster. Avoid at all costs!
I did not know about that. Thanks for the heads up!
