I used to love this!

Channel 4 used to have this along with other classic kids programmes (herb garden, bagpuss, clangers - which was one I never liked - and more) on early on a sunday morning and I used to get up early to watch them.

More great childrens programmes, compared to the Tellytubbies this gets an Oscar! Thanks

From the creator himself, Gordon Murray:

"The rhyme everybody remembers is the Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grub. Where did that come from ?
Well, it was just the rhythm. That was the big bit of choreography that I did, influenced by my wife who was a ballet dancer you see. Pugh and Pugh are twins you must understand - not Hugh, Pugh. "

Good deal, although the triple box set from sendit before Christmas for under a tenner was even better, and was honoured! :-D

Well... I stand corrected! (said the man in the orthopaedic shoes) :-D

"Pugh, Pugh" it is. And to think I've spent over 30 years thinking is was "Hugh, Pugh". Guess you're never too old to learn something new! :-D

used to love the 3 programms; remember waking up at 10 am on sunday mornings to watch them.
ordered for the wife because it was also her favourite kiddies programme as well

If you are after all 3 of these you are better off buying the boxed set called Trumptonshire.
Just found it for £10.43 at The hut.com, incl delivery plus you can also get another 10% cashback using Quidco, making it only £9.39 (You can get it for £10.12 at DVDI but only 5% cashback, working out slightly dearer!)

I remember one of the programmes actually mentioning the twins Pugh and Pugh. You see, you need to be an officianado!
