Guys, forget the fact this is made by "Trust" ive got this set at home (payed £15 from PC World, possible price match action therefore?!) and it is perfect.

There's no pairing, just happens automatically, no dropped connections, the mouse fits excellently in the palm of your hand and the batteries last well over 3 months with heavy use.

The only criticism is that the keyboard takes AAA batteries which is kind of a pain, but this has none of the niggles of some microsoft/logitech products.

Perfect.

The mouse alone is excellent. I bought one at Wilkinsons for £9.99 & went back & got another 3 for other laptops. It's very ergonomic, has excellent connectivity & the usb part that goes in the laptop is small unlike alot of wireless mouses (?mice) plus it has the extra back/forward browser buttons on the side. Can you tell I was impressed ;-)

The fact that you are getting a keyboard as well for just £12.28 makes this a cracking deal. Voted HOT

any idea what the range is, this'd be great for my ps3, or when I use my pc with TV

I've just checked & the range on the mouse is up to 8 metres, but I don't know about the keyboard though

EDIT :
Product website > ]http//ww…176

The online manual says max 8m as well for this product - take it that refers to both keyboard & mouse

I got this set from ebuyer a few weeks ago and I must say it is quality

The range sometimes cuts out when Im sitting on my bed and that is only 2 metres away but I think it is because the signal is being blocked

Great, heat added

Though only specifed for Windows, I found the keyboard and mouse worked faultlessly with Umbuntu Linux, and with the Sony PS3 running its own os (just plug in the reciever - no tweaks required)!

The Keyboard is compact with a good feel for typing. The mouse works well on most surfaces and has a good shape. The Range is good if you put the reciever in a USB slot at the front of your machine (haven't tried it at 8m though). I haven't tired the "Windows keys" or the extra mouse buttons either. It runs off NiMH rechargable batteries fine too

I bought this as it was the cheapest - its also very good - super value!

Sorry, I should have posted this as separate deals - just happened to spot them while looking around amazon - not trying to hijack the thread or anything.

The return/enter key looks a bit small:?

Once the report gets published, cross the unsecure ones from your shopping list!

These are quite good, Using one to type this lol

Will this work on USB 1 and Ubununtu/Linux?

Urgh. I would never buy a TRUST peripheral again, having bought a (wired) keyboard a few months back.
They're cheap for a reason... The whole thing has an awful feel to it, and one of the shift keys keeps getting stuck down.

I'm no snob, and I'm perma-broke - but I'm a convert when it comes to mouse/keyboard. It's worth paying a few quid extra for Logitech or similar.
(I wouldn't go so far as to pay for the Happy Hacking Keyboard HP Japan, mind! )

If someone was within 5m or so of my keyboard I'd be worried about them nicking more than my keystrokes!

It is only £11.99 at eBuyer:http://www.ebuyer.com/product/138196

That's not delivered > ]http//ww…293

Don't know which charge applies, but the lowest possible charge is £2.58 if under ½kg or £3.88 if over that weight on longest delivery. So more expensive.
NB it's over 1kg so total price at ebuyer = £15.87 minimum.

They changed their delivery T&Cs a few weeks ago - didn't go down well on here ;-)

Thanks Heat + Rep! Just what I was looking for also!

And yes ebuyer suck for delivery now, was about to buy a 1TB spinpoint from them, and 42" TV but they wanted something like £15 delivery.... Made it cheaper elsewhere

65ft = 19.8 metres.

Basically next door neighbours, someone parked outside etc etc. Not too sure where you got 5 metres from tho.

£19.39 now.

Received this today, pleased with the keyboard and was with the mouse after re-adjusting the length of my mouse movements (my "old" mouse was a Microsoft Intellipoint), anyway I've gone back to the Intellipoint - a few times the wireless one jerked slightly, and this seemed to happen every time I moved it quickly - basically the optical thing on the bottom isn't as good as I'd like it to be. I'll keep it around as a spare mouse though... (I only bought this because earlier posters said it was very high quality, sorry, I disagree). Like I said though, the keyboard's nicer than my old one, and quieter too :).

It got delivered yesterday but its faulty!!

The mouse doesnt connect after the set installs automatically. I took the batteries out and in again, and then it starts working for a bit before stopping again! The only way to get it to "wake up" is to take the batt out/in. Clicking any of the buttons don't work at all...

Does anyone have this problem?? I'm sending back to amazon i think...

Oh yes, another question - does amazon pay for me to send back the item?? When I was going through the process, I only got to the stage where I gave them the 200-word reason for the return. Then the page that followed made it sound like I had to pay postage myself to send it back...

Thanks
