To claim a copy, call 0845 286 3165 and quote 'ASPO11'.

Telephone opening hours are 8am-8pm 7 days a week. Calls cost 2p/min plus a 6p set-up fee from a BT landline.

Call length should be about two minutes. They'll try and up-sell a six week subscription for £1, which you can decline.

Publication normally costs £2.80, so for a 10p (roughly) call, it's not too bad.

Can take up to 35 days to receive your issue. Past experience says it should only take a couple of weeks to arrive.

Eh?

if you go to quidco - and then to isubscribe - you can get 6 issues for £1 and quidco pay you £4 to do that.....so...they pay you £3 to take 6 issues of this away.

It's worth checking out BT pricing for special numbers, as often the published costs don't keep up to date with BT's frequent price increases - productsandservices.bt.com/con…pdf

'Call Set Up Fees
Call set up fees payable in addition to any Pence per minute rates apply to most calls as follows:
Light User Scheme, BT Basic and BT Standard Rate Customers - 2.5 Pence (ex VAT), 3.00 Pence (Inc VAT)
All other Residential Customers – 10.416 Pence (exc VAT), 12.50 Pence (inc VAT)'

[b]
This is just the setup fee, and not counting the cost per minute

I know it's supposed to be a freebie, but when these companies make profit from calls that we pay, it's not technically a freebie. I've not voted.

Well tell the moderator who took the decision to put this in the 'freebie' section, when I originally put it elsewhere due to the call costs...
