Very powerful light output for the money.

Usually retails at £75 plus, has been over £100 and still is on many sites.

If you are on a budget have a look at the SOLAR STORM lights on eBay 251734843168 they are seriously blinding lights at a fraction of the price . apparently they are 5000 lumen but I know for sure mine light up the whole cycle path in pitch black conditions . comes with battery pack and chargher for just 13.95 in red . cheaper still from China eBay sellers

I must say that the Chinese ones are fine, I had a 3600 lumen torch which I use as a headlight at work on network rail, it's lasted a year and a half but just recently went wrong, so I've just ordered a 15000 lumen one for 79, not sure what it will be like but I'm sure it will be fine for what I need. Item number 201144935440

Good spot tho

Great, Thanks

Ordered, thanks.

I've got some of the solar storm lights and they're great, just so long as you accept the lumens quoted are completely not true, I've compared my 5000 lumens to another brands 1600 lumens, and there's little to choose between them, except the honesty of the seller.

So long as you treat any specification with a pinch of salt and accept that the warranty is non-existant, the Chinese brands are hard to beat, from experience I've not had any Chinese bicycle lights fail, and some of mine have been through many hours of use and plenty of charge cycles.

The only warning I would give is don't leave the chargers plugged in when you go to bed or out, unless you've checked your smoke alarms, and be prepared to replace sooner than you would like.

Very true on that the quality control varies massively from China, but again mine only failed because I bought a double sized battery and I think it may have fried my LEDs, so it was my own fault, but pay a money take ya chance, if you try Ali express you will find it slightly cheaper than ebay aswell

Fantasic lights and great value I bought these before Christmas for my son and he is over the moon with them
