Saw the light about a year ago and started buying John West No Drain Tuna Chunks in B&M in a 3 pack for 2.99 (everyday price and always available). Never looked back. Net (i.e. drained because they don't need draining!) weight is 110g.

Drained weight with these is 102g and that's after you've had the miserable task of actually draining it. Works out at less than 5p per can more expensive taking into account there's more actual tuna in the no drain ones and that to me is a very small price to pay. Life's too short

I checked these the other day & saw that they were £6 for two packs (8 tins) at Iceland’s website. That’s obviously the better deal unless it’s expired.

Edit - just checked & they are John West for this price at Iceland, not Princes.

I can’t imagine anything more miserable than the 20 seconds it takes to open the can and turn it upside down over the kitchen sink. Truly tiresome work indeed.

Get yourself to B&M and realise the error of your ways

Had one of these tins tonight,I was surprised at how little is in the tin,it says 102g drained weight but half the tin seemed emty in comparison to Sainsburys basics tins that are supposed to be 120g drained and you struggle to get the tuna out of the tin it's so tightly packed in,something doesn't add up here, the Sainsburys basic looked double the amount when on the plate
