Not a great reason to vote cold, or to even look at the deal in the first place!

Hopefully deal will help some folks

I do not have a makro card so have to vote cold on this one
What? No breast photos?

You don't have to vote at all.

I don't have an XBox 360, so do I have to vote all the games deals cold then?

Or do I just only vote (either way) on the deals that are of interest to me like most sensible people.

So we only allow Makro card holders to vote on Makro deals? The vast majority of people on this forum are excluded from getting this deal. If they decide to vote cold then they are justified, in my opinion, to do so.

As for the above poster saying that someone shouldn't even look in the first place, I had to navigate to Makro's website, look how to join, realise I can't then come back here to vote. Cold incidentally.
I do have a Macro card but have no need for a Turkey Crown. However I do recognise a good deal when I see one and so will vote accordingly ( not based on whether I need or can access the deal ) Hot.
Very good deal but by the time I factor in the cost of fuel getting there, I might as well buy locally. Still, heat added and thanks to the OP for pointing it out.

The point I was making was that a deal shouldn't be voted cold because of access problems, be that membership, distance or whatever. The vote is supposed to be for the deal. There's a bit of a clue in the name of this site.

At no point did I say you couldn't look!

As to having to "...navigate to Makro's website....", surely that is true of a lot of deals posted on here. You then find you either have to sign up or there isn't a "venue" near you etc. I wouldn't vote a deal cold on that basis.

Thank you. I hope that clarifies things.

Have a good Christmas.

To Summarise: posting deals on HUKD for Makro (for anything) = complete waste of time

I won’t bother again

Fair enough. I did understand what you were saying to be honest. Thinking you had said for someone not to look was the only error I had made. I just think that it's a slippery slope. I saw a deal the other day where if you knew someone who worked in Co-op then they could get you 20% off. Where do you draw the line? As a bare minimum I should be able to walk into a store (regardless of distance) without owning a business or working in said business.

As for "There's a bit of a clue in the name of this site". Don't be rude. I didn't mean to offend just prompt discussion.

Merry Christmas all.
