Good price

Voted hot, good price.

Good price for a horrible game.
Personally I hated this game..in fact it was one of the first games I returned after giving it a good 8 hours play.

Better of renting then deciding if you want it.

this is game is rediculously hard

save your money, go get uncharted drakes fortune.

Everyone slated this but I thought it was excellent once you get past the first couple of levels, I got the steelbook edition for £9.99, but still £7.99 is ok price for this.

OK here goes it was a while ago that I played this game but a few points stood out that made me use this game as a frisbee....
1. No aiming assist (on a FPS..?!?!?) Even after a number of hours that I had playing this game I still struggled taking down the dino's. A little more assistance in the targeting would have been great (even if it had been limited to dino's)
2. No health bar..(on a FPS..?!!?) with the game instead turning the screen red. Again, that's fine, but not with the insane amount of blur applied to the screen. It was hard enough having to fight dino's and soldiers (who could shoot a pea off a needle at 100meters) without blinding you in the process. Where's the fun?
3. And there was more...Turok is very good with his knife..so instant kills with small dino's is given..HOWEVER you can only perform these instant kills when the on-screen button command appeared, but appeared when you didn't expect it to...and once you'd started a knife attack the animation had to play out before you could attempt another. So, while you're standing there knifing thin-air, the bloodthirsty dino's circled me and began chomping me up. Yes very frustrating when I could have turned..brought up my automatic and blam..instead of watching myself get chomped. Its a FPS not a RTS game.
So, that was the aiming, the screen blur and knife attacks - three things that combined to damage a really potentially solid game for me..but there was one more:
4. The checkpoint system. In this game I was forced to play through the same sections over and over again just because one section towards the end proved a little too difficult.

What's sad is how good Turok could have been. Large environments, the dinosaur-eating-man is excellent (not that kind though.. )and pretty good weapons.

So, try as I might to like it, the game insisted that I didn't.
