'Turok' is an epic, story-driven first person shooter set on a dark, mysterious planet in the future. Players take on the role of Joseph Turok, a former black ops commando, now part of an elite special forces squad, known as Whiskey Company, which is on a mission to take down Roland Kane and his army, the Mendel-Gruman Corporation.

As Whiskey Company's ship approaches the planet inhabited by Mendel-Gruman, the ship is shot down. Turok is stranded on the planet and must locate other crash survivors while confronting Mendel-Gruman soldiers and a variety of dinosaurs and other ravenous creatures.

The realism of Turok and his team's terrifying circumstance is conveyed through the distinguished voice talent. Gregory Norman Cruz provides the voice of Joseph Turok, whilst other members of Whiskey Company include Hollywood actors Timothy Olyphant, Ron Perlman, Donnie Wahlberg and William Fichtner.

i know there'll be lots of haters... but i really enjoyed the last Turok game when it first came out... is this pretty much the same kinda stuff?

I like this game. Its not THAT bad. Plus at this price, will bide people over until the big xmas releases like GOW2. Hot!

Bought it 20 minutes ago along with jumper @ 8.99 from hmv. tbh both games are only worth this kind of money anyways.

This game is a bit shocking tbh.

i quite liked this game! plenty of meaty guns plus the multiplayer is good just wish more people played it online.
Well worth the money voted HOT!

Any game where you get to battle it out with a T-Rex is a winner for me. Just a shame that you can practically get through the game using the knife and bow without touching the aforementioned 'meaty' weapons.

It's worth using the knife for the death animations alone, although when you come out of 3rd person view you often end up in the line of fire when you were previously hidden...at this price, a steal, especially if you can get a few mates playing on XBL.

Might be worth a look at just over a tenner, I did try the demo when it first appeared on live and was a bit put off by the raptors seemingly glitching all over the place though...

great game, great price, i paid £17 2 weeks ago for a copy in tescos (well actually £17 worth of vouchers) Voted HOT
