Needed a new headset for my xbox one, Wanted totally wireless for a while but £200 was too much for these, Decided to buy them from amazon.de, didnt realise but at the checout it took $30 off the order because of a Turtle Beach promotion. Total came to £151.42 with shipping (3-5 business days).

This is the normal price for wireless headsets. These have great reviews, They are the only totally wireless headset out for xbox onex they are full 7.1 surround.

And nearly £50 cheaper!

I got these for xmas.

Here's a tip. Dont bother.

Until MS sort out the Audio delay when using optical out (Which I found out to my surprise) it's a bit pointless!

Very good headset otherwise, though not being able to use surround....

Odd, I have no bother with my surround sound XP400's.

Was looking at the Astro A50 or the Turtle Beach, I decided on the Turtle beach even though the A50's probably had a better review. Definitely getting the Turtle Beach now as it's £100 cheaper.

Seriously? I've googled the problem since owning the headset and it would seem its an ongoiing problem for everyone so I'm not sure how you dont have it?

I assume you are using optical output as well as changing the audio settings on your xbox to dolby digital?

I'll be honest, it's news to me. Me and several friends have surround sound headsets and have no such issues with delay. Yes both through optical out and with the audio settings changed to represent that in the XB1 settings. I set it up way back in Jan/Feb when they released the latest preview update with new audio options in.

Interestlingly I also know someone who reviewed this exact headset when they were released and made no such comments about sound delay?

It was only in the March update those settings came in so I assume you meant then rather than Jan/Feb (I'm in preview too)

Well, I'm not sure why I (and a lot of other people) seem to be having the issue when some of you are reporting otherwise. I did read interestingly that the problem went away for a lot of people with the Jun update, but has since returned for a lot of us.

I'd say the delay was 50-100ms. Not a lot though def noticable if compared to stereo which is in perfect sync.

Don't get me wrong. Great headset otherwise, and great price from the OP.

Yeah, whenever the preview rolled it out. I just remember it was a fair while ago. Maybe it's to do with the headsets themselves or maybe something like DTS? I know my XP400's don't support DTS, only Dolby Digital. I wonder if it's certain options causing delay. I can appreciate some people are more susceptible to certain sound delays than others but I'm confident there is no delay with mine based on the fact I'm fussy with things like that. Well hopefully they/you get to the bottom of what's causing it.

I got these after 1 day from germany...very quick

Mine have been dispatched today, hopefully get them soon!

Are these actually able to play the audio in surround? I've been struggling to find any headsets that do (nice job there MS)
If they do playback in surround rather than stereo, then I may invest (and not tell the wife!)

Deal is still on - picked up a pair for GBP 148.20!!!
