Great price for these, well worth the money and great for online play. Speech is so much clearer than with the normal 360 headset.

Heat added. These are fantastic. I would highly recommend these for anybody.

What is the main difference between these and the cheaper turtle beach XLC ones?

Heat added, bought my bf a pair for Xmas, currently under the tree! I paid £38 from tesco and had to collect!

Separate Audio and Mic volume controls. Audio amplified by USB power. Fit over your whole ear, instead of sitting ontop of your ear. Your own voice is played through headset so helps to stop you shouting

It is a worthy upgrade imo. Only thing I dont like is the audio control placement, I tend to mute the sound by accident when moving around.

Nope! They plug in to adapter which then goes to Xbox I believe.

Can these be used as normal headphones?

These are £34.99 in Game at the moment (got one for an x-mas pressy for my mate)

Also £34.99 at Amazon if anyone prefers to pay 15p more to buy from them (_;)

Just payed 39.99 from game, meh!

There are a few ways to connect these depending on what set-up your using, check out their website to see videos.

I use X1's which were replaced by the X11's (main difference being the colour and where the audio vaolume is located). Previously I had them connected to the back of the tv using the red and white audio connections. The possitives to this was that I could listen to anything played on the tv through them, so I didn't have to watch tv/films quitely at night when the wife was sleeping. The bad was that as everything coming through the tv came through these as well the volume had to be turned down and back up again for gaming - I prefer to have the same levels so found altering all the time annoying.

Now my setup uses an av receiver which has everything going into it and only a couple of cables out to the tv, there are no audio outs on it because everything has to go through it's speakers. Also when I use this the tv doesn't put out any sound so the red and white on the back don't work. The work around I have now is I have an HDMI cable from xbox to av receiver and also an adaptor in the xbox to give me the red and white audio outs. The headphones plug in there. Problem with that is only the xbox audio can come through the headphones so no late night tv/film watching with decent sound levels.

You can use them as normal headphones on a PC. They work on xbox AND PS3. For it to work on PS3 you need a USB sound card which can be bought from ebay or amazon for a fiver. 3m cable is plenty. Well worth 34.85.

Brilliant headset - worth more than that price IMO. I only use mine on my imac but the quality is superb.

Do these work with an iPod touch? I use a HDMI cable to connect my xbox 360 to my tv, does this mean that I can't use the headset?
