Curry’s have a deal on wireless Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Aero gaming headsets, which is compatible with PC and Consoles. I’ve not used this headset so cannot advise if it’s good but looks a decent saving!

If you're looking for a headset, I used the Hyperx cloud II and love them

Not in the same league for sound but a better cheaper alternative.
For this price I would consider only Dr.D version TurtleBeach is overhyped imho

I managed to get the Cloud II's and Turtle Beach Tac for less than £90, combined the quality is honestly amazing. I've tried these Turtle Beach headphones, they feel a tiny bit more comfortable than the clouds, but sound wise I prefer mine.
I've been looking at the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro next

Good while they last. I'm on my third dying HyperX headset, and every single one is reaching the same failure point on the in line volume control, wearing out the cable to make the headset unusable.

I've learnt my lesson now and will buy the HyperX Alphas with a removable cable or more likely the Logitech G Pro / X.

I got the Hyper X Cloud Stinger version... and then I got a refund
Can't go wrong with the 44.99 (from currys) hyperx cloud core headset, no volume control to break (can turn them up and down with keyboard), regular 3.5inch jack conectors. Had mine 3 years for overwatch, got son a set as well last year.

I dont use the DAC it came with on the Cloud II's I bought the TB TAC mixer separate so use that to adjust volume in game or chat. Maybes have a look into buy one?

I was talking about the actual cable running from the headset which is unfortunately not user replaceable. Now that it's faulty an external DAC will not help.

Besides, last thing I want to do is buy more stuff to make an already expensive product more expensive.
Nice find @GregGriswold and a belated welcome to hotukdeals

Thanks Andy 🤟
Just got my pair of these headphones, initial impressions are they feel solid and have a decent sound profile out of the box. Seems to work well in wired with my LG V50's inbuilt DAC. I'll post more once I use it more. I'll compare it to my other wireless (not gaming) headphones, the Sennheiser HD4.50BTNC.
Also, just so you know Amazon are also selling these for £100 with prime shipping.

I saw them on Amazon at same price but they couldn’t ship them next day, not even with prime. Not sure if this as changed?

It's strange, I ordered them on the 13th, they said they were coming on the 17th but I got them today (15th). So.... Yeah... That happened.
If currys honors the next day delivery, the more power to ya but I prefer Amazon's return system incase something goes wrong.

Also, update on using them. Tried them out in wireless mode on my PC and they were a little tinny sounding. Installing the software and transplanting my phones EQ settings fixed it though.
