Posted this a few weeks ago when it was £14.40 at Halfords instore (still is) but with postage, it bumped the price to just over £18.

Looks like Turtle Wax have matched the price on Amazon. Granted this product does take some effort to apply but results were better than it's competitors. For example, I found Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Spray Wax easier to apply and got similar beading results but didn't give me the gloss results which I really miss from older products like AutoGlym and Turtle Wax Ice.

Here are the results from 2 of my cars using the proper 3 stage method:
  • 1.5 to 2 sprays per panel and spread using 1 microfibre.
  • Go over panel with a damp microfibre.
  • Use a 3rd microfibre to remove.

Also found it works really good on other surfaces too like plastics and glass.

In your experience what's the durability of the coating? Above say a traditional wax?

These ceramic sprays should easily last 6 months minimum with a car parked outside and 12 for a partly garaged vehicle.

I'd say traditional wax, this spray on protection and then ceramic coating being best.

Yes, decent ceramic coating last longer but if not applied properly, paint can look dull in certain areas.

Beauty with this is that you can keep spraying as many times so you personally know that it's protected (needs to cure 24 hours between coats though). Can be applied in sunny and cloudy conditions too. I left the Focus (picture in description) outside since lockdown and result are still going strong, just use detailer to remove things like bird poop.
Still 50p cheaper from Halfords (delivered) for people who don't pay for prime.

Or walk into Halfords and get at the same price as Amazon prime (£14.40) and support local shop.

Totally agree, purchased mine originally from Halfords click and collect.
Used a DA polisher for the ceramic turtle wax back in January of this year on my xjl result wow ,awesome ,amazing shine ,water beading the best I've seen after five months . I've bought all 5 products in the range excluding the new black range highly recommended only the best. See all You Tube detailing videos.
Cheers. Ordered. Inspired by the super shine on your cars.
Is there a difference between this and the turtle wax ceramic wet car spray? Both the same price on amazon, never used either
Heat added as even with my Halfords Trade card this is £16.20.
Occasionally used Turtle Wax (Dry and Shine) which was very good.
However changed to a ceramic wax which cost £19.99 for 6 ltrs and included a spray bottle when it was on offer! Whole car done in under 15 mins.
The picture showing me taking a picture is actually the reflection off the bonnet of my 32 year old Ford Sierra which is used most days and in original paint. Here's pics of it done with the "new" ceramic wax I'm using.
Water still beading well after a month.May open up a can of worms for dedicated detailers if I mention what it is

🏾 Thanks, I'm sure you won't regret. Try and use the damp microfibre method if you have enough cloths.

Don't think the wet car spray is as durable as this stuff. I think you'd have to spray the wet car wax every time you wash the car whereas you'd only have to use this once to twice a year. Best to coat it twice (leave 24 hours between coats).

Tempted to try out their compound polish. Currently using G3 Premium with the DA, doesn't dry out so much on the car. It's nice and oily so won't burn the surface so easily.

Wow, looks gorgeous. Been finding it so hard keeping my black cars clean from experience. Wish I had this stuff on my older cars.
