Went in-store today (Bury Branch), there was a large shelf with at least 20x sets reduced from £29.99 to £9.99. It's a set of their platinum series products so they really do work well, especially the car wax. I also used a 15% off voucher from their current Christmas promotion outing the price down a further £1.50 making the set a mere £8.50. The set comes in a transparent zip bag which contains:

Platinum Car Wash - 500ml bottle with a rich lather formula
Platinum Car Wax - 500ml bottle with Brazilian Carnauba & Bavarian Montan Wax to protect & shine!
Platinum Wheel Cleaner - 500ml bottle is suitable for alloys, chrome & steel wheels
Platinum Cockpit Shine - 500ml bottle adds a deep lustre to all interior trim
2 regular sponges
Polishing cloth

P.s. I think that the deal is nationwide as it has appeared to be on their website before.

Spend the money more wisely and buy AutoGlym!

is that the one in the bucket

Turtlewax isn't v good for a true clean.. if you read up on it they simply put a layer of coloured wax, sometimes scratching your paint in the process. Does not actually fix/repair/protect any paintwork, only masks it.

lmao - the Turtle wax platinum products are the same as the Turtle wax profesional 5ltr bottles and i hav to say that for the money they are very good - i would defo use these products rather than Autoglym - with Autoglym you pay for the name - yes they are pretty good but if you really want the best then i suggest you buy Autosmart - i own my own valeting company in the northwest and i used to use Autoglym until i tried Autosmart and i would never go back - Autosmart are faaaaaar better - but for the money this is defo a good deal - heat added from me

Turtle Wax can be good. Some people are just brand snobs. Their Car wash is fine and wax too.

However, the cockpit shine and wheel cleaner should be avoided.

Not included in this kit and also garbage is their bug and tar remover.

Sponges? Well if you care enough about keeping your car good that you wash it yourself, go and buy a proper mitt and don't use sponges!

For those wondering The best Wax you can buy quite cheaply (around £15 imported) is Collinite 476s.

Well said there Modmedia, good taste in cars btw. That K1 is gorgeous

I'm guessing you're on SCN

I'm a big fan of their platinum series wax, much better than any AG stuff I've tried.... Smells lovely too :o)

seems a lot to me considering they are small bottles

Majorly disagree, I swear by autoglym but the Turtlewax Platinum has won many comparisons between the two, the wash is brilliant and smells like some kind of berry cocktail, the cockpit shine arguably smells better (leathery smell) than the autoglym and the wax is exceptionally good.

You literally only need a cap full of the wash for a whole bucket of water, tons of sudds from it

Don't know why this isn't hotter! Went to B&Q today to see if they still had some in, they had about 4 in the clearance bit, bargain for £10 so bought two. Would cost more than £10 for two of the items you get in the set!

Thanks OP.
