is this deal any good?

Not really got a clue with car stuff, but could do with some new cleaning products.

For my car and not myself of course

Online retailers see to be selling it for £25 + p&p, so as far as money saving, I think its good. As for the quality of the products themselves, I think turtlewax stuff isnt bad, not sure how valeters and detailers rate it though. Will be using tommorow so will find out then lol

Have a look at the forums on www.detailingworld.com if you're really interested in this sort of stuff. For the price you're paying though these are great value and better than nothing. If you get addicted to the Detailing World website you'll end up spending much more than £5 for any one of those items

Just been to Heanor one - no car products at all

I got some of these at the weekend too. Superb Xmas presents. There were 2 exterior car cleaning sets and 1 interior set. Great value for money as Turtle Wax is a good make. I dread to think how much these are in Halfords!!! :-)

I'd really recommend you don't visit that website, because you will be starting on a slippery slope! :-D

I was introduced to it by a fellow biker, after a week I'd bought my first lump of detailing clay and two buckets! Up until that point I'd have been happy with this turtlewax deal!

(good deal by the way, I might pick up a couple for easy christmas presents. Might be better than the iron that I was going to buy for the wife...)

very good deal if i can find them in my local.

Went in today but they sold out
Anyone know wether they will restock at a fiver tomorrow?
I'd rather pay £5 for a kit than £10 for wax at halfords lol

I got some but one leaked in my boot, and over half the bottle has gone everywhere. So make sure all the caps are tightened properly or keep upright. Going to try take the leaked one back for replacement. These look very good value for money! Got some as Christmas pressies too.

I would buy one but as the saying goes 'you can't polish a turd.'

Yeah and if you live where I do you tend to get the crowd that like to kick your panels in, and dump card board boxes on top of the car, after they've seen you take care of it giving it a clean etc. Has happened quite alot despite the fact the car is a 15 year old Skoda which I thought weren't supposed to attract such attention

Didn't have any in the Newcastle Under Lyme store. Will have a look again later in the week.

Anybody tried the wheel cleaner? Is cheap compared to other products but is it any good?
