Top glass shelf is supported and slotted into x2 metal brackets which are secured to the rear black metal body which is further secured with x4 m8 bolts (x2 each bracket) and further secured with x2 M8 bolts that go through 2 holes drilled through the glass can't see how it could possibly fall off unless you break the glass :P

In the older model they had glass glued to the metal on the bottom base, which ended up just, well falling off. Did not bother me one bit.

I am going to get myself another one especially for the conservatory

I have this, brought it a few months ago, very sturdy, glass is very secure only problem is, its perfect height for my 19 month old grandson to bump his head, but Id rather that when he was rocking my 52" and almost knocking it on top of him, id advise you to get a few sets of good quality corner covers though, as the corners are quite blunt, and the cheap covers are easily peeled off by little fingers.

Nice.

bought this yesterday, was an absolute pain to build, and put my 50" 30kg plasma on it and to me its too heavy for it.....even though states upto 40kg. Screen kinda tilts towards floor. Actually contemplating returning it.

Probs best for lighter LED/LCD screens

s[/quote Try adjusting the rubber coated "feet" adjusters on the base of the bottom glass ( unscrew the front 2 anticlockwise to get the TV level to a 90 degree angle.
