TV Player Plus is an Internet TV streaming service which gives you access to premium channels such as MTV, Comedy Central, History, Discovery and many more. You can even watch shows from these channels on demand. You can watch on the go on your mobile, tablet or laptop. You can also watch it on your TV if you have a Panasonic Viera Smart TV or on any TV by downloading the TV player app on a Amazon fire stick.

It's saved me ££ on a Sky or Virgin Media TV package.

Honestly, we used to subscribe and cancelled. Terrible buffering even on 50mb+ fibre. Half the time channels wouldn't load, channel 4, more 7 4 seven were worst. Not everything is able to be watched, a programme may be on but a warning will come up saying for some reason this programme cannot be broadcast, possibly due to some Copyright rules.

They ended up giving us 4 months offer and we paid for only 1 of those months. We are into 2nd month to try again and its just as bad, app been overhauled as well and more bugs. You are meant to be watching slight delayed live TV yet other night OH wanted to watch Grand designs and instead no amount of uninstall and reinstalling would play it, played same 2 minutes before just freezing constantly for the entire 1 hour programme was on.

That's using Xbox App and App on Shield TV/ Tablet casting.

Might just be us, but play reviews somewhat mirror our issues
Rather use now tv. Worlds apart

If you follow the deal link it shows which channels they have.
Need to stop buffering and freezing all the time its a shame cuz it has potential the be a grt service too laggy
It has a lot of problems. Have to log in all the time. Streams get into a weird "skipping record" effect where you keep seeing the same few minutes. Sometimes the streams are dead. Support sucks, and never actually fixes anything you raise.

That said, it's cheap and useful for a freeview replacement.
You can try the free basic to test, so best do that before paying!

I'm glad you caught the mods in a good mood because when I tried to post a deal for TV Player a few weeks ago it got deleted, i was told the company is not allowed on HUKD and my account was flagged so all future submissions must manually get allowed by mods. Really appreciated that. Maybe the mods have since toned down the aggression.

Indeed. No Eurosport.
No Roku app
I've recently spent a considerable amount of time testing IPTV and have come to this conclusion..if you like FHD quality save yourself time and don't bother!.

Best I could find was gearstv with Mayfair guide on kodi.. $15 mth with over 400 uk and us channels mostly "1080p" - yes they are FHD however they are very compressed 1080 so very blocky... If you don't mind spending $15 mth on a poor quality stream go for it.. I did however enjoy the constant US commercials for pharmaceuticals..!! and in terms of channels UK has certainly now caught up with US so you'll get similar channels discovery,fx, bravo, animal planet etc

IPTV imho unless you have very poor eyesight has a long way to go to reach SkyHD quality..
Tell them it only takes 2 minutes to set up, pm me if they get stuck thanks
TVP works great on ThreeGo Binge and streaming data is included

Indeed. No Eurosport.

Better off subscribing direct to eurosport and Chromecasting
And pay double.

Works great for me, all channels work, no lag. Can always try a free trial to check buffering speeds if you're not sure how your Internet will cope. It's been an absolute god send for us as we don't have a TV aerial.
Of you search in hot deals under eurosport offer that expires today £15 for year posted by etadeu may help those that just want support
It's working ok for me. No lag. I think I will buy a nowtv box and hook it up to my hdmi though, rather than subscribe.
Does anyone know how may devices you can watch this on at the same time when viewing the subscribed channels?
Two devices.

Your TVPlayer account can have up to a maximum of 5 devices registered to it.

2 of this devices can play back the PLUS (Paid streams) concurrently.

The remaining devices can play out Free channels streams whilst 2 devices at that time are playing Plus streams concurrently.
So I just subscribed. During checkout it showed as £60 for annual, and I applied 50% off code (it was automatically applied actually). I checked the invoices page afterward and it showed £35.94 !!

Apparently it's 50% off the "full price", full price being 12 x the monthly price, not the advertised annual price. Nowhere during checkout, even on the confirmation page, was £35.94 shown. And nowhere was £71.88 shown either. I only noticed because I looked at the invoices page afterwards. Not very happy about this. Extremely misleading. I don't suppose anyone else has gone for the Plus membership and taken a screenshot of the confirmation page? Please share if so.
Incidentally, it used promo code "TVDEAL". As it wa shown as 50% off I assumed its the same as "CRAZYDEAL" as shown on this deal.
Well, I was asked to email their support. So I did. Within 1 minute of sending it I received what appears to be an automated response saying "No refunds". I'll update if there's any resolution but my faith in TVPlayer being a reputable company is starting to fade. The "no refunds" email mentione not being affiliated with Sky, so hopefully their response was a system glitch.

Looks like I'll have to waste time looking into the consumer rights act and whether basic things like showing an agreed price during checkout overides the company's small print.

The discount offer shows as 50% off the Annual price, which is promoted as £59.99 (12 months for price of 10).

Well yes. Indeed. During checkout it said "50% off full price". Who is to say "full price" of annual isn't £59.99. The annual price has never been more than £59.99 And at the very least they should show the price during checkout. Who doesn't show the price during checkout! Wasn't even shown on the confirmation either.
TVPlayer said they're refunding the discrepancy so that's good.
The free service has been very useful in the past when my mother had an extended stay in hospital. The TV there was very expensive but the Wifi was free, so she used TVPlayer on her iPad for free instead. It was very reliable. Hope the paid channels lives up to previous experience.

Hello again! Do you use the free or paid TVP? Wondering if the ads a) come out of your data (three warn that they might - guessing it depends on where they are hosted; TVP or elsewhere) & b) are there many. Having just bought a 3 mifi, this is very interesting!

Tried the free version last night - no issues with quality on my 12Mbps BT broadband (ends in 30 days ).

If they redo this offer, I'll be all over it as I love NatGeo & Discovery!
