Also you may prefer to go for this at 50" with far better image quality: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/award-winning-panasonic-plasma-50-tv-txp50st60b-for-potentially-835-82-from-co-op-1623560
If you pay a tiny bit more for a 42 inch (instead 47") FT60 you'll get a free Ipod Tough 16GB. Something to consider. PS Looked at the Panasonics recently and the LED frames look great. Also the image looked great too atleast in the bright lights of an AV store. I've read the blacks have a bit of a purplish tinge in the dark
Too expensive for what it can do, good for gaming and good for brightly lit rooms and during day time but not very good blacks, backlight bleeding mostly noticed at night, bad viewing angles, blacks look washed out and blue at night when watching with the lights dim, still a good TV but can get better for money elsewhere. I have a Panasonic plasma as plasmas are really good for films, blacks, motion, colours , and really come to life at night. but I would buy one of these for games.
If we can Shoehorn Linux on to it, then I'll be able to run it up the flagpole and push the button on that.
