Honestly this phone is falling in value so quickly I wouldn't advise …Honestly this phone is falling in value so quickly I wouldn't advise getting it. Every week we seem to get a cheaper and cheaper deal.

I waited for a long time for the S7 edge to fall in price but it never really did to a point where I wanted to buy it . The S9 and S8 however are now available below the price I was willing to pay for an S7 so maybe that's how the market is. The other option is that both the S9 and S8 are so much like the model it has replaced and the consumer is thinking what's the point in changing and if Samsung prices are falling then the competition does too. Perhaps with the exception of apple. Samsung used to be my choice of phone but when they starting charging near iPhone prices it became a game I didn't want to play. 3 years ago I went for the lg G4 which was equally as good if not better than the s6 of that year and was a lot less to buy. Last year when my contract expired the price for the S7 edge were still a lot more than I was paying yet the S8 had just come out. I decided to stick with my LG. But what's happened recently has amazed me to be able to get high end contract phone for quite a bit less than £700 over 2 years. Last week I bought an S9 for £23 month and £100 up front. I had the phone booted up for a couple of hours and soon realised it wasn't for me and sent it back. After reading a lot of reviews I went for the Hauwei P20 pro which came today. I can tell you after transferring all my data over, which was a simple process, unlike the Samsung which failed to connect to my LG using their software, the phone just blows me away. The design, the smoothness of the touch screen, the weight, it just feels quality, like an iPhone. I thought my LG was quick when I got it. This phone is amazing, comes with a fitted screen protector and supplied gel case. Everything about this phone just says quality. Oh and did I mention the camera......no need as all the tech reviews have said it before me. The phone may well drop in price but the competition will as well and what I can tell you is comparing this phone with the new Samsung range I prefer this. Every phone reaches a figure where it will not get any cheaper but if you're not careful you may not end up getting one at all ande more they sell the cheaper they will go. For today though I have what could be the best selling phone of the year and am happy with today's price. Anyone thinking about buying this phone should go and demo one. I wish I had done that first instead of just buying the S9.

guy, the p20 pro handset, is it sent by ee or buy mobile? cause when i …guy, the p20 pro handset, is it sent by ee or buy mobile? cause when i called "Three" to get pac code they warned me that when you get cheap contract from third party company instead of main provider, third party company send the phone instead of EE or main provider and sometimes it can be a used phone or not genuine. anybody had any experience with the phone sent being used or anything

Mine was brand new in a sealed box. I think they are saying that to frighten you off and to try and keep you .

surely that's an increase in price then

Ok I'm dealing with a troll, well played for keeping me going.

Getting hot in here, or is it just me?
Be careful with buymobiles as there are many reports of issues if you pay your contract off early.

This is my own experience:

- Bought phone on Orange contract.
- Paid off contract with network after a year and thought that was the end of that.
2 years later, I get an email from A1Comms stating I need to return the goods or pay them over £300 for the phone that was supplied as I also had apparently entered a contractual agreement with them to make all the payments. This was then followed up with a letter and various phone calls and further emails.
- Having looked through the T&C's (should have done this at sign up but who actually does?) there was a clause stating 'if you end the network contract within the minimum contract period, you are liable to return the goods that have been supplied' or pay the balance .
- The 'debt' was then passed to the Burlington group and again to T3Collect but I continued to state that this extra contract should be made clear at time of purchase and I was not going to pay. I quoted various laws to state this should be made clear to the consumer etc etc.
- Eventually I got T3Collect to write the debt off after they failed to follow correct guidelines in debt collection and I raised this with the director.

There were many tweets to the company around the same time and also threads on MSE so I wasn't alone.
I guess that other suppliers possible have the same clause but I have done this before and never had this happen.

T&C's are here: buymobiles.net/ass…pdf
Look for 4.6
Quick question, if I buy this phone and within 14 days I decide I don't like it, can I return the phone for a full refund even if its been opened?

It's just you
The week before this came out I got a Note 8.

i wish I'd waited.

I've got the black one. Bit gutted about not having twilight but the phone itself is amazing. The camera is fantastic!
Couldn't wait any longer for this to come out and got a pixel 2 xl. Dont have any regrets. The pixel is an amazing phone and I'd recommend it but I'd be all over this otherwise.

Have you checked the little box that has the warranty and quick guide info in it. Looks like packing but it isn't.
Anyone sorted how to take a photo / still shot from a video yet.
This phone is incredible, the camera is like no camera I have ever seen on a phone, my wife has a pixel 2 and is jealous of my camera

If I wasn't on a SIM only plan on my old S6 then I'd be all over this like a fat kid on cake. Cracking deal

Interesting comment. I was tempted by the P20 Pro but recently posted it on here (on a Pixel 2 XL thread) and general feedback was that the 2XL was a much better phone and that the P20P had some issues......

Hmmmmm

TL;DR
I would get this but worried about the network not being great, I've checked there coverage and it says I should be ok by me but it's a big decision to jump to someone else especially when who you are with gives great coverage.

Is your the twilight edition or the black version?
smith24v1 h, 40 m ago

I checked Caroline warehouse as they list what's in the box and it's listed. Mine had a fitted screen protector as well. Was your box sealed.
can you use EE data in Spain without roaming charges or am I miss understanding the whole roam chargers thing?
looking for some options for using when on holiday.
Twilight edition not been this price before.
Honestly guys whoever is worrying about getting this - don't! It's a brilliant phone with an amazing camera x
One question... If something happen to the phone and you got the insurance you deal with the website where you buy the phone or with EE?
FGS wish I'd waited and got this rather than the black one now..
