I have been looking around for 2 of these for a while, these seem to be identical to the Thule 530 but rebadged for Halfords, they are also lockable on both the bike frame and the roof bars. There are cheaper carriers on the market but looking at the reviews they look a good buy.

Obviously with the Halfords deal you can save by collecting from store but thought this would help someone who can't get to store, prefers brands, or who wants a single key to work both racks (do the halfords ones come like that?).
As the OP states there are cheaper roof racks on the market, I've owned some of them. They aren't worth it, the bikes rattle back and forth on top of the car. I was never confident they weren't gonna fall off round corners. These are much more secure.
Can anyone recommend good ones, or should I just stick with Thule?
Cheers
Simon
These are good ones, in fact i'd say excellent, I picked some up yesterday, on the receipt it actually says at the side of the description Thule 530, so no need to go for any other. Used them yesterday with 1 adult mountain bike and 1 childs mountain bike, held them very secure with no probs at all.
