Darn - got this at HMV for £20

Great deal

Isn't this about the price that it was going for in those rubbish Black Friday deals on Amazon which where always sold out in miliseconds??

Original Poster

I think they were selling it for about £22. It doesn't come with the cool postcard set unfortunately (my only consolation for having paid about £50 for it on region 1 a while back).

All right. In any case a good price - forgot to say that earlier...

Only thing that annoys me with play.com is that they charge me in Euros as I live outside the UK - and their exchange rate makes £17.99 - Euro 25.49 - that is an exchange rate of £1 = 1.42 Euros. What a joke! I hope amazon will pricematch...

Bob lives on

I just got mine delivered this morning after the Amazon deal.... Feel kinda gutted now, but not sure i can be arsed sending it back and reordering with play.

ugh I got mine from Amazon too. Oh well

+1 for being gutted i got it in the Amazon Black Friday sale!

Can anyone who has already bought it tell me which language and subtitles are available? Many thanks!

Been watching the series for free on Sky's horror channel each night... Bob's your uncle.

It's not for free if you pay for Sky.

I finished season 1 of this on Sunday and I have to say I was disappointed.

Anybody? Pretty please with sugar on top?

Curious about this, is it any good ?

Cheers, watched the series religiously when it was first aired, really looking forward to re-visiting it. Thanks, heat added

I'm a big David Lynch fan and had been meaning to watch this for some time. I didn't find it particularly gripping, I finished the first season last night and I don't have any desire to watch the second. The characters and quality of acting was good but I found the plot somewhat convoluted and hard to follow. It didn't really interest me, there are some classic Lynch moments in it but it just wasn't for me.

I only have the first series not this so i can't say what subtitles this version has.

tried to watch this again recently it seemed so old and boring

Really? I've recently been re-watching and reckon it's one of the best series ever made (the first anyway) and Dale Cooper is the best character of any series ever.

£18 instore at FOPP if you have one near you

Now price matched at Amazon.co.uk !

Thanks for this. Been looking to buy this as a Christmas pressy but could only see this price per series. Phenominal price ! I paid nearly £40 a year ago.

Slightly annoyed that I got it on the Black Friday deal from Amazon at £21.97!
Yeah - great deal Amazon, thanks.

Thanks. Shame, makes it harder for resell later here.

I bought this from Amazon on a Black Friday deal. Also bought House seasons1-6 at the same time. Now House is available £15 cheaper at HMV. Seems Black Friday deals maybe aren´t such good deals after all.

It's been in Fopp for £18 for a few weeks - if one is handy and you are in a hurry!

Dammit I hate this site.

Ordered.

Does any one know if a blu-ray version is coming out? The price of this DVD set seems to be tumbling down, from £40 to £17.99

I don't know, however I have to say when I watched this DVD I was blown away by the quality.....all before I had witnessed Blu-ray of course, but it is a mighty fine restoration on DVD.

This is now £29.99 on both Amazon & Play. I've expired it once but for some reason it's been unexpired???
