Great that it’s valid in school holidays too
Went to Matlock one earlier in the year and wasn't very impressed. Seemed to be in desperate need of a serious cash injection. I'd certainly never go back there.

Just my opinion for what it's worth.

I don't think the Matlock park is associated with this one. They have one near Mansfield, but not near Matlock.

Are you thinking of Gulliver's Kingdom at Matlock?

Yeah I got muddled with my area, it was the Melton Mowbray Twinlakes. As I said, wasn't impressed.

No, Twinlakes at Melton Mowbray. Had a mad muddled moment and said Matlock. Incidentally I've been to Gulliver's at Matlock and thought it was pretty good for younger children. Twinlakes Melton Mowbray not so much.
Twin Lakes at Melton is our theme park of choice for our 5 year old. Never crowded, big grounds, short queues for rides, excellent.
Twinlakes is a great theme park for smaller kids (under 6), but a bit limited for older kids, though. It's probably better described as a large farm park with a big indoor soft-play rather than a 'theme park', there are a few rides and a splash park. Drayton Manor is probably a better choice for a midlands attraction for brave, older kids like mine (8 and 9).
Twin lakes has improved a lot in the last year, more rides for bigger kids and little kids. We weren’t going to renew our passes but bought new ones in the easter sale
since when did Twinlakes have that ride. in regards to comments about Wheelgate for £40 a year for an annual pass its great for local people and makes a nice day out.
