Well that's a lie!! I've bought this a few times, it's delicious & it usually defrosts in abt 2-3 hours. Just leave it out next time whilst you make & have your dinner, & it will be defrosted by the time it's dessert time :-)

After reading this thread I went out and got one,very very nice .Also for 50pence cherper Iceland sell a millionaire shortcake cheesecake which is equally nice.
Be aware it contains Shellac a secretion by tree bugs

It might be endorsed by the Veg Soc, just thought put it here FYI, read here on the Veg Soc

Finding it hard to understand how a £3 cheesecake reduced to £2 gets so hot when a great tv deal taking over £100 off gets next to nothing - this site is becoming pointless
