Are they not required to be cleaned periodically?

They are! In my store it's cleaned often and I would quite happily eat a flurry every day haha.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, don't eat these. I worked at Mcdonald's back in the day, I've seen inside the machines. Not a pretty sight.

Obesity crisis? Increase that statistic by 1 within a week!!!!

I missed this Been for our once a month McDonalds treat tonight & didn’t get McFlurry as child had milkshake but I may have got her a McFlurry instead if I’d known about this offer.

Everything in moderation or regular portion sizes mean a treat every now & then is ok.

Peoples total lack of self control & low exercise levels are also a factor.
They are oblivious to their calorie/fat/sugar intake, they believe all the hype about low/no added sugar & sugar free foods being better for them & in general eat too much.

I meant coz of my (soon to be) chubby butt tbh.... I’m sure that this’ll be the reason (blame?) for many ppl tipping over the edge into the next weight category up tho

Twix isn't as good as Galaxy, so it's a shame those ones have ended, but Twix is still nice and I will try this

I wonder if they'll be contributing any of their profits to the NHS to deal with the crisis they're creating.

You would never eat again if you let that bother you. Do you think everything you eat is prepared in pristine conditions?

IIRC, yes. The important part is the advertisement in this case I think. I love Twix, so I'm very happy with the OP!

That's reassuring! Not sure why there are comments about dirty machines then... perhaps some of these stores need a review.

Nom nom nom sorry I couldn’t hear you over the nom nom crunching of the biscuit base...
But self control? As if lazy people have that?
Barely any chocolate and sauce . Just cheap ice cream.
So strange, I was just talking about these 2-3 days ago saying they were one of my favourite McFlurrys from past choices - can't wait to have one now.

I can taste it from here Exactly my point but it’s not just lazy people that have no self control these days.
I’m an avid label reader since doing a nutrition course - during which I discovered I’m gluten & dairy intolerant - & am very careful as to what we eat hence only having McDonalds once a month, at most.
I batch cook food at home so I know exactly what we are eating but I do have some items that I deem safe for quick meal treats.

You must work in one of the better stores then
£1.39 in my local branch v 89p for oreo, crunchie or dairy milk

would be cheaper to buy a twix and break it up then paying 50p more for a few crumbs of broken biscuit and caramel sauce , bit of a con to be so much more expensive
The small is disappointingly small tbh
I prefer Ben and Gerry’s, voted cold.
Now cost 99p for mini and £1.39 for regular.

99p for the regular of any other McFlurry by the way, 69p for a mini of any other McFlurry

This is what I was charged earlier.

Eh? Then why look at a Mcflurry deal if you prefer Ben & Gerrys? Some complete weirdos on here
Good luck finding a machine that isnt "broken"

Apple pie dunked in a strawberry sundae was the only thing I liked from McD's. Was devastated last time I went and they weren't doing them

It's hardly McDonald's fault that the public lack the self control required to stop gorging themselves inexorably to oblivion.
Whoever can eat a McFlurry when it’s this cold deserves a prize.
