Ginsters & Pasty, shouldn't be allowed in the same sentence.

I do hope you didn't vote cold because of your personal opinion on the quality of said food stuffs.
This is still a hot deal for the price in contrast to other retailers.

Find them rather yummy, myself

I went to Greggs last week and asked for a corned beef pasty, they never heard of it.....I am in London, they kept on saying "you mean steak pasty", what happened to them, I have been to 2 Greggs and both said the same, they were much better than these Ginsters.

Cold Cold Cold!

Regardless of how healthy you are, these are stacked with Hydoginated fats waiting to cling to your arteries - Consider me doing you and society a favour - reducing the cost to the NHS and you of a tripple heard bypass!!

whenever I see ginsters I think lee evans and the drunks in the garage forecourts!

interestingly, or not, these were voted some of britains worst food on the virgin media site the other day.
I have to agree, too much dry pastry and not enough filling.

for a proper pasty, get down to cornwall, or this little place I went to in redruth last year. it was amazing!

as amazing as a pasty can get anyways... :P

And then we can all watch a prime example of "natural selection" at work!

Haven't seen a co-op for years!

These pasties are nothing like a real Cornish Pasty. If you don't believe me next time your down in Cornwall try a Philps pasty.

Avoid.

Mmmm, fat that coats your mouth and dodgy offcuts of meat.
Nothing beats it...

if you knew what went in to these you wouldnt think its such a hot deal. a mate of mine used to work in their factory and at the end of the day they would scrape up all the filling that fell on the floor and make up the last batch with it. havent eaten one since he told me that

Please amend the highly misleading title.

There is absolutely NOTHING Cornish about a Ginsters Pasty whatsoever!

Get a real one? Stating the bleein' obvious isn't it.
So what would you suggest a 5 hour drive down to Cornwall for a real one and 5 hours back?
Sometimes you lot are unbelievable!
Voted hot just to wind you lot up!

Yeah, I always think of Alan Partridge popping into the mini mart for a Ginster's.

Are they allowed to call them Cornish Pasties???
I ask this because in Gregg's, they have stopped selling Cornish Pasties because of a dispute over the name as they are not made in Cornwall.

The best Cornish pasty I have ever eaten was from Tintagel in Cornwall.
Good old Stake and Stilton. Mmmmmmm. I wish I lived near there just for the supreme pasties.

But no... up in the North East we have rubbishy Ginsters and Gregg's.
Urgh! Not bothering with in my opinion.
I would rather just make my own

soon they wont be able to call them cornish pasties. theres currently a review going on to stop people selling them under that name. just as jersey royal potatoes can only be grown in jersey, and certain cheeses can only be made in certain areas. its about time this dog food in a packet was advertised as such. to be a real traditional pasty it has to contain potato, onion, sweed, steak, salt and pepper. nothing more, nothing less.

Shouldn't be allowed to call them Cornish pasties nothing like the real thing. Wouldn't feed them to my Dog!! Sorry but no matter what price these are they aren't worth it!!!:viking:

I was listening to Chris Moyles on Radio1 one morning (over a year ago). I don't know why but they had a "fresh" tray of pasties sent to them, comedy dave noticed one or two were actually GREEN on the edges, Chris asked who sent them in. Dave replied Ginsters!

What a cock up, if you are going to send your companies produce to a high profile radio station, in the attempt you might actually get a mention/good pr, you might want to check that there isnt mould on your stuff first!
