I thought this was an amazing offer when posted a few months ago at £99, same price still but if you use code MIDMAY20 it takes a further 20% off making it £79.20 del when you choose delivery via e-voucher.
The code works on most thing on site to take 20% off (there are a few exclusions, will pop link to them in first post) & with Fathers Day just around the corner there are a few decent ideas / prices for presents.
Will pop links to any others I find in 1st post.
This offer is only valid at Coventry & it has great reviews, there are a few terms & conditions (as you would expect with flights), so have a good read of them.
What's included in this experience?
• A two hour flight experience
• 20-30 minute pre flight briefing
• 30 minutes of hands on control of the 4 seater aircraft
• 30 minutes of observation time in the rear of the aircraft
• Post flight briefing
• Personalised flight certificate
• Complimentary drink at The Oak next door to the airport entrance
• There will be two participants in the aircraft

Helicopter Pilot Day was £279 now £119.20 with code

What can I expect on the day
Learn how to become a helicopter ace with this Helicopter Pilot Day! Available at several different venues nationwide, this very special offer will see you noseying around the hangars, learning fascinating facts about choppers and enjoying an extended helicopter flying lesson.

We are offering nine venues for this informative and hands on day at the helipad. All schools used are fully CAA registered and you will be meeting pilots who work commercially and can give you loads of tips, hints and advice - as well as a few aviation anecdotes, no doubt. Centres range from Thruxton airport in Hampshire, to Cumbernauld Airport in Glasgow.

If you've ever dreamt of being in the captain's seat, this is the day for you. It starts off with a welcome over a tea or coffee, followed by a briefing from a CAA licensed pilot instructor who will be hosting the experience. Then it's time for the aerial action with a 15-20 minute one to one lesson in one of the trainer helis with just you and the pilot. You'll learn how to hover, achieve forward flight and experience the manoeuvrability of a helicopter.

Back down on terra firma, you and your fellow would-be helicopter pilots take a break for lunch, before you get taken on a behind the scenes tour of the hangars so you can see the fleet of aircraft that operate out of your chosen school. Your instructor pilot will guide you and talk about different types and uses of helicopters - for example, did you know there are both piston-engined and turbine engined helis?

After all that excitement airside, your helicopter pilot day ends with an informative talk on life as a commercial helicopter pilot, how to get your licence, whether to earn a living with it or as a keep flying just as a hobby. In this four hour experience there'll also be time for questions, making this the perfect gift for any helicopter enthusiast who would appreciate getting a real hands on insight into the industry and the life of a pilot.

Complimentary drink at The Oak next door to the airport entrance

I'm assuming the complimentary drink is after the flight?

Heat!

Did this 7th May. Really enjoyed it although I was a bit nervous at first. James. the pilot we had, really put us at ease. We paid more that this each but was well worth the money. Food at The Oaks was good although they were a bit slow in serving it. It was very busy due to the weather though.
Great price! My luck, I'll be blindfolded into one of these (_;)

£225 is pretty excessive (you should be able to turn up to any airfield and pay less for more); but £79 sounds good.
Or fly a MIG29 in Russia for €29000
Max weight only (yes, only :)) 16st! That's me out, but surely others too as certainly a lower threshold than I expected. Would buy for wife as birthday coming up but I daren't ask!

Honestly those things are better than an actual aircraft for learning, the realism level is fantastic and you get to fly something pretty big.
That's less than my one hour flight cost about 20 years ago without a drink. Although the drive to Coventry would add something to the cost, a great gift too, HOT!
Had my first ever flying lesson yesterday and loved it!

I'd recommend this one, but its half that price if you look elsewhere !
should say Coventry in title.
saves someone else searching
Looks like 5% Quidco too.
I feel like the OP is sending us to Coventry.

Yes
Voted hot but it's such a shame none are near me - I would have liked to buy this experience.

I've already had one before and an aerobatics experience, both were fantastic!

They are on TCB too
When does this code expire
Did one of these at Cranfield a few years ago before all the flight training schools went bust - tricky hobby to carry on once you realise it's £120 an hour and you need +/- 60 to get your licence!

45 hours actually. And 9 theory exams plus a medical examination plus study material.. Lessons anywhere between £120-£180 depending on aircraft type and school.
Anyone else a Count Arthur Strong viewer? oO

I'll stick to flying in VR I think.....
Great experience, I had a similar gift, unfortunately I lost my stomach after 50 minutes at the controls and had to dash back. Still highly recommend.
slightly tempted by this

Looks like a Top Gear-War of the Worlds mashup....The Stigpod!
if i bought for my self can my miss come into the flight for additional £50?
When is it available?

• Available throughout the year, subject to weather conditions
• This experience requires two voucher holders per flight. If you choose the voucher for one, availability will be subject to a second voucher holder attending

This part has really confused me? Does that mean i would still have to buy a voucher even if I don't want to fly.

Who's answer would you trust more: a random HUKD member or the provider? ASK THEM!
I impulse bought the voucher, then I realised that it would be cheaper for me to do something closer to home, if I factor in the transport cost. Time to call them for a refund tomorrow...

I also purchased this online as an e voucher but I don't know how to book a date and time. Are you able to help me?
