Two latte glasses £3.50 @ Sainsburys instore

Found 7th Jan 2014
I've been looking for some latte glasses for our Tassimo and found these in the local Sainsbury's tonight. They are the perfect size for the Tassimo latte drinks, feel solid and are dishwasher safe.

Bought the same type of glasses at dunelm marked up at £1.99 went through till at £1.33

On sale too in cardiff

Thanks a-latte!

I saw these about a week ago in Sainsburys Leigh. They had loads on the shelves, and also had packs of 2 hot chocolate glasses for same price which I bought.
Think both were reduced from £7 down to £3.50 and quality/weight seems decent.

There were shelves full at my local store, glass that's it's nationwide. Not quite as cheap as some of the previous deals from other retailers, but close by, which saves petrol :-)

Thanks, will take a look.

Bought these the other day for my Tassimo too!

If they are the same as the Dunelm Mill latte glasses, prepare for disappointment as your Tassimo latte spills over the edge of the glass

I had the sense to use a big mug first and then pour the latte from that into the latte glass, slowly! :\ My only solution was to remove part of the milk that goes in the glass before putting in the coffee part. Kinda lame! lol

I nicked mine from Costa

Or you could buy M&S "Meal Deal" for a tenner. Instead of taking the bottle of wine with the meal you have the option of a boxed Irish Coffee set complete with 2 glass coffee mugs. Very nice.

Are you talking about the Tassimo coffee machines like I was? Or do you just mean, general coffee making? I can understand the latter, but not the former. Care to explain for the Tassimo users?

Was it these exact glasses?

They're perfectly sized for my T40, no overflow at all.

JUST HAD MINE RESERVED AND PUT BEHIND THE COUNTER! Thanks for this!

Seeing as how we're talking Latte sizes, my problem is the Costa Latte produces too much (300+ ml) for the standard size (240 ml) glass. Anyone know a source of reasonably-priced larger glasses other than the rip-off Costa originals? (Their facebook page suggests they sell the USED ones!).

I'll try and measure the volume tonight.

You can press the start button again to have a smaller amount of water (it still takes the usual time to stop when you press the button)

Nevermind. My previous post (#19) means I no longer need that info. Still, it may be useful for others.

But I must ask... Why have less of the Tassimo drinks when it costs as much as it does?? Bit of a waste, isn't it?

Had me worried for a minute, close to overflow! Looks good though, just need to be careful with the first sip

Bang some vodka or baileys in first tastes great..............................................

Picked up a set of these glasses this afternoon. Neither the price ticket in-store nor the packaging, stated the capacity of the glasses. Got home and compared them to a Latte glass I already had which only holds 250ml which is not big enough and they are both identical in size. Costa Latte pods state they are 325ml on the packaging. So I'm very surprised to read that others find them to be the ideal size for Tassimo Latte pods!

I sometimes like to squirt whipped cream on top then drizzle caramel sauce on top, Starbucks style. Sadly no chance in glasses this size.

Shall be returning these glasses.

Cheekster.

Got these for £2.10 in Sheffield store crookes
