Two pairs of prescription glasses delivered for £15 via MSE @ GlassesDirect

If you use our MSE Blagged code MSE15GLASSES on top of an existing Glasses Direct* offer before 11.59pm on Sun 12 Nov, you can get two pairs of prescription glasses for £15 delivered.

Here's what to do:

1. 2for1 on prescription glasses £49 or over. Glasses Direct has a range of frames priced from £49, which are currently on a 2for1 offer*, so you get the cheapest free. Once you pick your frames (Boutique frames are excluded), you'll be asked to choose your lens package. If you don't want any extras such as scratch-resistant coatings, you can avoid the extra costs by clicking on 'continue with basic lenses'.

2. Code gets £34 off and free delivery. After adding the second pair to your basket, you can either enter your prescription or opt to send it later. Then, use the code MSE15GLASSES at the checkout by 11.59pm on Sun 12 Nov to get an extra £34 off ANY glasses where individual frames cost £49 or more (before the 2for1 discount). It's not valid when you spend £49 or more on several cheaper frames. Delivery is free with the code (normally £3.95).

Combining these offers could get you two pairs of glasses for just £15, plus free delivery. What's more, the second pair doesn't have to be the same prescription as the first, so you could get one for yourself and one for someone else.

It's worth noting that if you need bifocal lenses you'll have to pay an extra £30, and it's an extra £49 for varifocals.

Should have gone to specsavers.

Thanks , had a couple of pairs in my basket after a very minor prescription change last month but never got round to ordering them , £15 for two pairs just gave me the nudge I needed .

They had a better deal if you wanted their more expensive frames direct through their own website. I believe it was half price, free pair of frames of equal/ lesser value and free delivery. I ordered 2 x £89 frames and received them for £44.50 today (used their basic lenses as I bought 2 pairs of them ~ 3 yrs ago and they're still fine and I don't miss their protective coating/ antiglare/ UV filter etc on their more expensive lenses which can end up doubling the effective price per pair). The more expensive frames I think look substantially better too but if you're happy with the cheaper one's for £15 this is a good offer so still voted hot

glasses have been too expensive for what too long- heat

how good are the basic lenses? Can you see or feel the difference?

This is cheap, Specsavers saw me coming, obviously.

Thanks OP!. Just sent for a free trial. Hopefully I will get the frames before the offer expires!.

Basic lenses are pretty bad, as usual it’s the pay extra for thin lenses trick which seem to start at £59. Anyone know what the maximum minus prescription they do is?

Link above shows maximum they do, I've just ordered -6.5 but only for reading in bed after I take my contacts out

Incredibly good deal.🐵

I've used glasses direct many times. They cocked up once, but quickly rectified the problem.

Used GD several times, always great service.
Fortunately I need a new pair of Glasses.Hooray !

Are they? I've only ever got the basic lenses, been fine for me.
A couple of frames though have ended up with quite a thick lens on them, making them a bit heavy for wear, but that was my poor choice of frame and I was too late to return them.

Good post, I was up late today and was going to post this after reading my MSE email.

How do you get 2 pairs for £15? When I try it wants to charge me a total of £35 (which includes £10 per pair for basic lenses in each).

make sure your first pair qualify for a free 2nd pair (I think its anything £49 or above excluding boutique or designer) then choose your glasses type (distance, reading or computer) then it will offer a 'package' choose basic/ free the next page has the various coatings etc to choose there is a single line in the text which says something like "continue with basic lenses" then a pop-up advises against un-coated lenses just click proceed and your done!! I've had about 6 pairs with basic lenses from GD without issue.

Thanks 1970QPR. It was the "continue with basic lenses" link that I was missing. Just ordered via Quidco for (hopefully) another 75p off
