This really is a fantastic deal. Thanks
Do people, bar Corbyn, really buy lenses without AR coating?
On which note, how much are coatings on top of this price?

Was this supposed to a politically insightful commentary?

No. The prices for lenses are comical on this site.
Googles4u can supply frame, lenses with AR coating, and photochromatic lenses for less than £25 (sent from Pakistan).

Most of the frames are $1 from China and blank lenses are 50p each., if you know the industry.
UK glazing costs are too high.

Whats the quality like and do they offer thin lenses?

Twelve quid for anti-reflective and anti-scratch (per pair). I bought one pair from Goggles4u in a recent HUKD for £9.95 with coatings, but I think that deal has expired.

Mine have been fine. Photochromic lenses are 1.56 index.
You can get higher index if you do not want photochromic lenses.

Standard lenses CR39 1.498. People are wrongly stating 1.5
One cannot round up in this manner!

No, and my prescription is high.
Years ago there was an issue with one pair and they just refunded me.
These are $1 frames and $3 lenses. It is not worth sending back for them.

PD for my son was 58 in Specsavers and 60 at Vision Express, such is the accuracy!

Did they actually give you the pupillary distance? I'm concerned about accuracy measuring it myself.

No, they cannot. You have to measure it yourself. It is not hard. Ask someone to put a ruler near you eyes and measure the distance from the centre of your pupils.

P.D. can be obtained from your existing lenses, but they do not reglaze.
Some opticians will give it to you.

There may be an app to calculate from a photograph by scaling it.

Eg iphone apps.apple.com/us/…049

or warbyparker.com/pd/…cam

Yes I have badly supposed to be 61 was 66 to 68. What worried me though although they refunded someone on their chat page said it won't make any difference. If this is goggs 4u answer then not for me even after ordering lots in the past. Or simply get your local specs avers to check the made lenses.
Thanks for this !!

used it with Quidco to get 4% cashback !
Every little helps
