I think if you were around in the mid-eighties you'd get them. Unforgettable Fire and Joshua Tree just defined an era for me and, I suspect, many others too. Shame their last album was so weak.

You can still listen to the 'glory years' music now you know - they weren't recording onto parchment 'back then' - we had cars and colour telly and everything!

Anyway, my 3 year old's favourite song is 'Magnificent' from No Line On The Horizon, so you're not THAT young :-)
