Does anyone have one of these? If so would you recommend for this price?

It's ok and for that price it's pretty good. But this is really only for android as IOS mangles it's protocols and forces people to pay to support it so a lot of the functions don't work on IOS.

i had one, but obviously don't expect much for the price. it's not "always on" either - like a lot of the watches in this price range, you have to press a button to get the time.

it's probably worth the money just to **** around with a smart watch just to see if you want to upgrade to a "proper" one.

Would like to see how this would work with iOS

You wouldn't :). You just get alert notifications and that's about it. You can play music through the watch speaker as well via bluetooth but it's horrible, horrible quality.

Cheaper on Amazon

Cheapest U8 on eBay £12.10 ☺

...or pay £20.99 for U80 with Bluetooth 4.0 on Amazon...still, a nice price for the U8

no heart rate monitor so that sucks

Second that bought a U80 off eBay today for £20.99 for my son good for him to mess around with and if he gets on with it might invest in a better one.

Just took a punt! Should be quite cool to use as a gimmick.

Order it Thanks

superb item and excellent customer great item...!!!! ordered it

100% recommended...go for it:)

Good price , but I feel all these watches are ugly mugly and chunky

Filthy piece of junk.

Ok product for this price. Pretty good to use as a trusted device for 'Smart Lock' on Android.

This is what I want too but all the ones I've seen seem to start from around £50.

Shocking device....don't waste your money....keep losing bluetooth connection with phone in pocket & only a matter of inches from the wrist

Such a good deal. Voted hot.
I will not buy though because I would need Whatsapp and Gmail support.

I owned this and would recommend for the price. Build quality surprisingly good and handles notifications well. Couldn't ask for more for the money. Anything this can't do is worth taking your phone out of your pocket for. Heart rate monitors have been around for a long time and I've never felt the need to own one before.

Hit. Because Beyonce hasn't got a gold one.

I MEAN HOT!

I mean HOT!

I have had mine for 2 weeks now and to be honest its pretty much what you would expect for £16-20 rubbish it does do all the things it says but battery life is abysmal if you play music through it or take a few calls it will die in less than an hour from full charge -bit different to the 7 days stated, the strap is so annoying its made of rubber and the fastener always slide off and the excess flaps around the screen has cracked already after a few minor knocks basically its ready for the bin do yourself a favour save up for a decent one i am gonna do just that

Pardon my ignorance, but on these watches do you talk to people like Michael Knight did? does it have a built-in speaker?

I bought one from eBay for £25 before Christmas, it went back.

I used it with a Windows Phone, I knew going in some things might not work. I could make and receive calls through it, play music over bluetooth, check the time. Don't think I could read texts on it but can't remember. I know some features required the companion app which is only on Android. Anyway, the reason it went back was the phone book. It is very slow to navigate with no search function, and if you try to scroll quickly through the options it locks up (or mine was faulty), and requires a master reset to fix it.

Poorly implemented, looks alright and depending on what you intend to use it for this is a good price. My intention was to be able to listen to music through my earphones from the phone, then when it rings, look at the watch and see who is calling and answer without getting my phone out (speaking through headset), for this it works fine. However I also wanted to be able to call out in the same scenario, but due to the phone book problems this was not really suitable.

Yes, it has a built in mic and speaker if memory serves me right.

I agree with that, keeps losing connection to Bluetooth and sometimes takes ages to connect in the 1st place!

I bought one for £20 just to see if there was a use case for a smartwatch and I do like the vibrate notifications which is all I still wear it for. The battery easily lasts a day, it may even last 2 but I've not felt the need to drain it. I have never used the mic or speaker on it and it's pretty annoying having to remember to disconnect it to answer calls. As somone said it might be worth £12.90 from ebay or even the £16.90 here just to try it out and see if you have a use case for a more expensive one.

Just purchased the u80 for 21 fulfilled by Amazon, so any issue I get amazon service, to be honest I'm only after it for work, when I can't really use my phone all the time so should be with the money going off the reviews

Great product if your too lazy to pull your phone out of your pocket.. and if that's the case you may as well jump now

bought one to see if I fancied a smart watch. sold it a month later. Rubbish. doesn't really offer anything.and if you put your phone on silent it doesn't go on silent too...pain... better off buying a twenty pounds proper watch and holding your phone

Got one for 12 pound
