Ok probably a bit of a niche product but been on the hunt for 1 of these for a bit and this seems to be the best price, its £100.58 but using prep2020 takes it down to £80.46 delivered, this is a brand new product from the ebuyer ebay store.

Also you'll collect nectar points so make sure your ebay account is linked to your nectar card.

Had an alert setup for this. Great deal.
Good deal.
Great bit of kit, I have got on in work and used it to fire the wifi across the lake to the otherside!
Great price, good find
Great bits of kit. Personally I would pay a bit more for the Nano HD if mounting at home. Plus it supports Mu-MIMO 4x4
Is anyone using using these to get wifi outdoors? I have an AC Pro already that I use just for streaming around the house so thinking of putting an LR at the back of the house (indoors) to extend the network into the garden. Would this be the best option?

I'd personally just get another pro. I don't see the point in some of the other models apart form maybe the HD, otherwise I allways go with the pro.

Whilst I don't disagree, the nano HD is more than a bit more (try twice the price)...

I have one of these at the centre of my house. It covers my house and 75ft up the 100ft Garden. The range is brilliant.

Cheers, tempted with the in-wall ones too, look a bit neater for the home

Mine are hidden in the loft or behind TV in living room so they don't bother me.
good price, i have several installed and work great. Just wish they were wifi 6 flashable or otherwise upgradable in the future.
I have an Lite version in downstairs hallway had rock solid internet in a standard 3 bed house so these should be brilliant
That's absolutely a steal. Can't recommend it enough for everybody. It easily covers my whole house + a little bit of garden
I'm keeping my eye open for a deal on a second lite, they are fantastic bits of kit. I don't really need (AFAIK) the additional stuff in the pro or HD.

I've been considering a mesh for this scenario (hard wired through).
I think it would be easier to direct the antennas out to the garden than change the orientation of the LR
Would this replace a Superhub3 or is it just an extender?

Same here, rock solid, once you set it up you can forget about it.

This is a great price.

Wouldn't replace a router. It would replace the routers WiFi which you would turn off to use these. It is a wireless access point, not an extender.

Wi-Fi6 is different hardware. You'll never get a flash upgrade for this.
Great AP never failed me.
I have the ac ap lite as the modem is in the garage

Going strong after 3 years
The AC pro is also on offer here. Works out to be £117.

Do you need to have/ keep a controller running 24/7 or is it only required to provision the AP?

No you don't. I find it much easier using the cloud key though, previously had the controller on my QNAP NAS.
Sold out?

Ended up with the new AC-IW-HD, it's about a quarter of the size of the Pro, much neater for a home install (if it's on view)

You don't need to, but I do. I use a Raspberry PI.
I struggle to get a reliable connection with my Google home devices. Upgraded firmware etc but still not working.
Anyone any ideas?

If you have "Block LAN to WLAN Multicast and Broadcast data" enabled in the wireless network settings, you need to either disable it or add the Google Home MAC addresses to the exception list.
