Almost the same software as the upper models, which is great as TizenOS is very good. It's just lacking a few animations and is a bit laggier.

Otherwise, it's very basic, with a dim panel and small colour gamut. Picture quality is similar to any number of low end home brand TV's.

Last year's RU7100/7020 is a better buy if you can still find them.

I'd go for the LG, it has more features and ports. Black levels aren't very good compared to the Samsung, but the panel is brighter, has a wider colour gamut, and better viewing angles.
Bought this last week decent TV however HDR content is unwatchable due to it being too dark

To improve it, turn contrast enhancer to high, and put the gamma level to 3. It should get you an image that's closer to SDR, but still not perfect.

Yeah I tried all of that but upping settings like that adds other issues like ghosting I decided to just buy a fire stick and disable HDR as there is no setting at all in the TV menu to turn it off
