Is this size 5 as in 38?

I have seen some chatter about Women buying Youths' Uggs (some say they aren't as tall by about an inch or so - some buy Kids' Size 2 sizes down - in the US, anyway, or a size down as I've seen mentioned on UK forums. They focus on the cm sizes mentioned).

An example: https://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/1659603-Uggs-has-anyone-bought-the-kids-sizes-for-themselves

I'm a UK 7, 25.1cm according to Uggs' Womens' Size Chart, so by UK 5 Big Kids' cm sizes (24.1) I'm out of luck.

Can't comment as I've never tried!

Kids size 5 will be little bit narrow + most UGG requires to go one size up than normal shoe size.

I'm a UK size 7. Most Uggs I'm a UK 7, at least in the soft suede styles. Got a pair of Wilcox in the recent Ugg sale (not worn them extensively yet) and they have this same waxed style, slightly harder leather Outer as Kensington (not seen Kensingtons in the flesh but that's what I've read from reviews) and I still fit into a 7.

I do have Uggs that are leather, got them in a 7 and wow, could barely get my feet in them (took a real squeeze)! I am still pretty slender built so it wasn't wide feet or anything. The leather was really stiff and I had to size up and get an 8. They look like this: cdnd.lystit.com/pho…peg

Just an update. I ordered a size 5 brown for my missus which arrived today. She has the same ones in 5 in black she bought a couple of years ago. Anyway, these fit her perfectly. Exactly the same size. Fill yer boots .... ha haX)
2.1% back on TopCashback, better than nothing
I thought the UGG obsession had gone away - now people are imposing it on their kids! Ugly boots, ridiculous prices. For chavs only.
Thanks, just ordered

Hate paying for just a name but we got these for our daughter for school over winter, normally we just get supermarket shoes which die after a couple of months. These are well made with excellent materials, have been easy to clean and are still going strong. Normally our daughter would have trashed 2 pairs of school boots over the winter but these cost £15 more than two pairs of supermarket boots and are still in excellent condition. I constantly get naffed off with how poorly kids shoes are made and how quickly they fail and wear out, but I have to say I have been very impressed with these Uggs and will buy them again.

Confession. For years I used to say "If I ever wear Uggs or Crocs - shoot me".

Well, guess what, now I have Crocs (wear them as slippers, which sounds weird but they're excellent for that and easy to wash. I even wore them when I had a toenail pulled off a few years ago and couldn't wear normal shoes - and the looks of pity you get when you wear them outside!!).

I started wearing sheepskin "Fuggs" that were on The Hut thanks to HUKD - they were so cheap they were just an experiment. They were so comfy and warm I started to appreciate them.

Treated myself to real Uggs when Branch309 (much missed) was still active. I wear the funkier styles and have to grudgingly admit I was wrong about them!

TL;DR: I am now wearing the devil's hoofs and actually quite like them.

My sister bought these for my (nearly eight year-old) niece for the latter part of the year.

She says the same - she's bought cheapo knockoffs for school but found paying a bit extra for Uggs was worth it. Kids really do put their shoes through the wars. The whole buy cheap, buy twice thing
