    A lot of models, including this one, do not have power cut-off when no device is connected. Yes, they only draw what the connected device needs, but you will still have voltage at all times going through the cable, and it is enough to cause heat and fire. If you have your type C cable end around metal furniture, like a desk, then I strongly advise you disconnected from the hub when not in use.

    Nah not for me. If I'm risking expensive kit with a random name generator Chinese brand, I'd at least expect it to put out more than 65w combined.
