A lot of models, including this one, do not have power cut-off when no device is connected. Yes, they only draw what the connected device needs, but you will still have voltage at all times going through the cable, and it is enough to cause heat and fire. If you have your type C cable end around metal furniture, like a desk, then I strongly advise you disconnected from the hub when not in use.

Has anyone got this will the power output drop down once I connect my phone and tablet at once?

There's a interactive guide on the amazon site, it'll show you what outputs it does with various combinations of port use.

Nah not for me. If I'm risking expensive kit with a random name generator Chinese brand, I'd at least expect it to put out more than 65w combined.

Ugreen are very well regarded. I've had lots of their kit and all still going strong. I would compare them to Anker.

The 100w model from mymemory seems better value tbh (£39.90 with newsletter signup)

Does anyone know if this supports Samsung superfast 2.0, aka 45w? It's got PPS, so that's a positive
