Save a few pounds on this Ugreen Bluetooth receiver AUX jack by buying it via AliExpress rather than Amazon. Admittedly it will take a while longer to arrive, but if you in no hurry, then £2.83 stays in your pocket.

Works with none-Bluetooth headphones, Hi-Fis, all that — just plug it in. Plus, because it has the aptX LL codec it should be okay for gaming and watching fast-paced movies. The LL means low latency AKA less lag.

"The Newest Bluetooth 5.0 Version: Compliant to version 5.0 specifications, backwards compatible to Bluetooth 4.2/4.1/4.0/3.0/2.0/1.0.

Supports Qualcomm® aptX™ Low Latency: Qualcomm® aptX™ Low Latency audio ensures your Bluetooth® wireless enabled device can deliver sound in sync with visual media. It reduces delay and improves end-to-end speed of the audio transmission, resulting in a high quality, synchronised user experience.

With aptX Low Latency you can enjoy the freedom of wireless for applications such as gaming and watching videos.

Universal Compatibility: This Bluetooth 5.0 Receiver can be connected to any A/V receivers and any powered speakers with standard 3.5mm jack , ideal compatible for home theatres, stereo systems, and car stereos, also suitable for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Smart Phones, and Android devices.

Dual Connection: Connect 2 Bluetooth devices at the same time.

Long-Range Wireless Connection: The wireless Bluetooth adapter supports the connection up to 10 meters/33 feet, controlling the music playing in a long distance."

Some may get confused with receiver vs transmitter.
A transmitter allows you to listen to your wireless headphones/speakers if you plug the transmitter into a TV, PC, old stereo.
A receiver will enable you to listen music from your phone, wirelessly to your old stereo, PC, speaker who does not have Bluetooth.
For convenience, and considering is not much difference in price, you can find 2 in 1 devices to use them both ways.

If you want to listen to it wirelessly on headphones with less lag?

Unless I’m missing something you will need a transmitter for that?

Voted hot, I like the form factor. People placing an order to make sure what they want, this is a receiver, not a transmitter or a 2 in 1.

Agreed, why would you plug a receiver into a tv?
I got the Mpow BT 5.0 one from Amazon for £12.99 with same day delivery and it does a great job!

I think you’d need a transmitter to connect to your headphones. This receives info so can be plugged into the HiFi or car stereo to play music from your phone, for example.

If you type on Amazon 2 in 1 transmitter receiver, you will find a few and can read the reviews there. I personally believe the Chromecast audio is the best solution, as it is via wifi, however some people need Bluetooth. Also, Chromecast audio hard to find, more expensive and I think needs plugging at the mains.
Very good solid products from Ugreen. I went for ebay.co.uk/itm…n79 instead. For the car as the bluetooth for car was only for voice and not for sreaming. They normally have stuff on offer on their ebay site i.e cables, adapters etc and it's direct from manufacturer so keep an eye on them too for bargains.

This one seems pretty good, Aukei is a good brand and you get it from Amazon slightly cheaper. Nothing against the deal, I voted hot already.

Just to be clear...if I connect this to my non-Bluetooth car stereo’s aux, will I be able to play music from Spotify from my phone through the car’s system?

I don't really know TBH, I don't have it. I just like the brand and the price. There are a few Aukey on Amazon for £12.50-15.

Aukey has Bluetooth 5.0 but true, no info on LL, I am sure if it was, they would have advertised it.

Unfortunately not, as it is only a receiver. More for hi-fis to connect with your phone’s Bluetooth. It doesn’t transmit.

If you plug this in the projector to listen to speakers, you need a transmitter, not a receiver. Best is to look for 2 in 1, both transmitter and receiver as I think it costs pretty much the same.
