UHD 4K Movies to own from £5.99 - Amazon Prime Video

I've been searching for quite some time to find the cheapest Ultra HD 4K movies to buy. I've looked into UHD Blu-ray's, online streaming services etc. and have finally found some reasonably priced 4K movies to own. For some reason Amazon makes it a pain in the backside to find these movies and you need to search for them on a UHD TV / UHD Streaming Stick - I can't seem to find them on either my phone or laptop (probably because they are not 4K resolution).

On Amazon Prime Video (on a 4K device) you can either search for them by the title below or click on Movies and then Ultra HD movies to see the entire list.

Amazon does stream in 4K. You need to be on a 4k device. It starts at low resolution but does playback at 4K after few seconds.

The only one I found included in Prime is The Division: Agent Origins

Otherwise you need to buy from the list above

Not sure, I was just in a cheap car thread before, asking if it's still possible to do the coat hanger down the window trick instead of buying a car.

Seems im out of date with crime in general.

What use is 4k if the bit rate is low?

Everyone always overlooks the biggest issue with streaming.

Cold because you don't really own them.
If its not physical media I'll just find it on teh paradox or stream through kodi.
I at least need some decent packaging a booklet and extras and stuff if I'm gonna pay. Paying for a digital copy seems crap too me.

Agreed. Even the HD content frequently looks awful. Some of the compression artefacts in dark scenes make Amazon stuff terrible. Same with Sky movies on demand. Compress an HD film to 4Gb and that’s what you get.
Sky are horrendous for streaming. Not worth watching.
So what films are on sale ?

4k streaming works fine for me with sky fibre
People on here whining about torrenting movies while the production companies moan about their movies only making 100 million profit and not the 200 million they predicted. Breaks my heart. Those poor rich people.
Sorry cold. May as well buy the blu ray and upscale. The quality will be better. Only good 4k I seen on streaming is Netflix original content.

Steal the local millionaire's car and see how you get on with that argument with the fuzz.
On the bright side, you get the award for today's dumbest comment.

Is it connected to a 4k tv? If it is need to factory reset your box. Seen the past the option wasn't showing for some reason until they reset.
Would love to see Blade Runner 2049 in 4K on a 65" screen with full surround sound, but the price would be OTT for home viewing.

One of these might be more realistic though:

Realorfake4k.com if anyone wants to see if a film is actually 4k or not (well if it was on disc that is)
Cold from me: you don’t own these after paying for them. You’re paying for limited viewing rights for an unspecified time.

Hmmm.... So I try & watch Top Gear The Grand Tour via Amazon Prime Video in Ultra HD - Think I managed 2 seconds before the buffering
So, then I choose the SD version - Brilliant - This manages 5 seconds on - 5 secs off continuously
I try with the TV connected via homeplug - Forget it - for some reason Sony TVs only like wifi
So, my only recourse is to download TGT via torrents & play back on a dongle via the dvd player

Dont even get me started on CH4's 'Walter Presents' which like to tease you with the first episode via terrestrial methods & the rest through some means of witchcraft & offerings !!
I have to play back the episodes via the PC whilst using a video screen grabber program to capture them - usually at just 16fps - then put that 15Gb file into a video splitter to isolate the episodes, before loaing them onto the dongle
{Just taken me 3 days to do 'The 13 Commandments'} - Bugger - Just realised - Thou shall not steal
