Some people sing sad songs about, mother and home
Some sing about wicked women I, leave ‘em alone
Some sing about blue suede shoes, and a romance that went wrong
But I pick up a ukulele and sing a mucky song

I pluck, pluck, pluck my ukulele, and serenade the folks so gaily
All around the place you see the smiles, smiles, smiles
I pluck for my dinner and pluck for my supper
I'm such a happy little plucker
Singing songs about tits and bums and piles, piles, piles.
A classic little ditty from uncle ivor.^^^

Great post and find. Bringing out the best of hotukdeals as well.

But is it any good.

Sorry I don't want to be a ukulele snob but I expect this is pretty much a kid's toy and will be tough to use and listen to.

For a cheap beginners ukulele I would suggest this which will sound good and be easier to play - lots of colours available:

Nice christmas gift idea. Thanks for the post!

The main problem will probably be that it will be difficult to keep in tune as it uses a cheap peg mechanism to hold the strings taut. The one cited by maroom has gear tuners.

Have been looking for one for my almost 3 year old....will have a look tomorrow thanks

sorry to be another ukulele snob but this is really a toy. i had one for my first ukulele and within a week bought another as it sounded terrible, even when my brother who has played for years played it. i will not vote hot or cold on this. for a cheap ukulele that actually sounds good, i wouldnt go as cheap as the mahalo but try the makala dolphin (amazon.co.uk/Mak…1_3?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1382481689&sr=1-3&keywords=makala) these are fantastic for the price. if you do go for one of these or another cheap one, please please please put some decent strings on like aquilla nylgut strings. it will make all the difference. hope this helps

Me too

I got one of these a couple of years back. Hard work keeping it in tune. There are better ukes on eBay/Amazon for the same price

Good luck keeping these in tune.

Agreed the Makala MK-S is meant to be one of the best budget ukuleles.

Agree with all these comments - these are utterly useless. The pegs are half the problem - the frets are not correctly positioned.
