That first sentence applies to the vendor as much as the manufacturer, if not more so.

Also worth noting and should appear in the title that this a preorder and won't be shipped until one months time. And duty is likely to be applied if you choose DHL.

Decent looking spec phone nonetheless.

It feels cheap and a bit tacky. The specs look good on paper and I'd say OK for a casual user but will soon get laggy

Processor on this seems terrible - 1.5 GHz quad core, scraping the bottom of the barrel even at this price...

With the exception of xiaomi and Meizu I wouldn't touch these tat Chinese phones, terrible software which will never get updated, camera will be dire and it will more than likely develop a fault within a matter of months.

Looks well build and nicely designed in the photos but of course those are the photos to sell, so in the flash not so good?

I was an early adopter of Ulefone; I have a discarded Be Pro in a drawer. It lasted 11mths before it was too painful and laggy to use (despite factory resets etc). Build quality was so-so, and promised Android updates never came.
In my opinion, Ulefone seem to develop a phone and instead of adding updates, improving, they move on to the next phone. Each phone seems to be the upgrade to the last. I decided I wouldn't buy the brand again.

Agreed, the products get rolled out so regularly that they are basically ditched as soon as they are launched.
I've got an UMI Plus E. It's UMI's latest phone, only been out about a month.
Performance and battery life are nowhere near what you'd expect from 6gb RAM and a 4000mAH battery. Camera is worse than the UMI Super which is older (and still wasn't great) and there is no news on the promised upgrade to Android 7. Also random wifi issues that can only be resolved by a reboot.
UMI announced the UMI Z before my Plus E had even shipped so I presume they are focused on getting that out of the door.

difficult decision, either a chinese phone or an LG G3 off EBay? something under £200, any advice?

Context would be good, what are you looking for?
Redmi 3S Pro (3GB RAM) is a great option at around £120

A good camera.

Then an LG G3 all the way. Most probably you could get G4.

Now £102.
