Ive had one for about a week now. Came in quality packing with flip case and screen protector. Feels like a phone worth twice the price, good camera, good screen, very fast. Only issue I have is finger print reader a bit hit and miss and battery not as big as id like but I did used to have the Ulefone power with a battery twice the size.

Good for short time. Then becomes slow, battery life is very poor, fingerprint scanner just doesn't works as it should... I would not recommend it!

seems like a great spec on paper but that res in a 5 inch screen sounds a little low to me. shame the fingerprint scanner doesn't work well.

I really cannot see why someone would buy a China phone for this price nowadays when you have Moto G4 available. I have given them a chance and tried various budget chinese handsets, from Redmi to Zopo and all get put away into the draw after a few weeks..... Then going back to using premium top of the range android.

Over the years (Samsung Galaxy s2, LG G2, LG G3 and LG G4) my LG G4 died suddenly due to the documented boot loop issue. Having to get a replacement phone quickly, I managed to get a Moto G4 from John Lewis.

My LG G4 cost me £350 end of last year. The Moto G4 is widely available around £130. Nearly 3 Moto for 1 LG.

So what have a lost out on for 1/3 of the price? (LG G4 Dual Sim v Moto G4 Dual Sim). I don't game at all, all I use the phone for is calls, internet stuff and messenging.

1. LG Camera is better and focus faster, but Moto is totally usable. If I had not used LG before, I wouldnt know any different.

2. LG screen is sharper (more DPI) but only noticeable when you zoom into photos when looking at photos you taken.

3. LG has double tap screen on/off which I miss.

So what is Moto better at?:

1. Battery lasts much longer than LG

2. Moto works perfectly in my car with Android Auto, LG would hang and not charge.

3. Moto will let you assign the micro SD as internal memory.

4. Moto is noticeably faster than the LG.

Unless you want the 'pose' value, as a consumer, I cannot see any reason why you would need anything else than a Moto G4.

I wouldn't buy a 1080p phone for less than a 100 as I wouldn't expect it to be any good and on a 5" screen 720 is fine for most things.

Have you done the trick where you add another finger? Instead of adding middle finger or whatever you scan you index finger again. It means you're getting twice the amount of fingerprint data into your phone and so more chance of it working.
Also have you tried placing your finger on the scanner and then unlocking your phone when it's place?
These two methods allowed me to get my Elephone P8000 working every time!

That is the funniest thing I'll read all day.... Ok so only funny if like me you're imagining kay typing that message on a Ulefone

looks good to me...any risk of import duties?

Yes there is, I think on a £100 phone it was around £25 so if we pare it down to this you're looking at about £21.
If you use the cheap delivery option that takes 3 weeks anecdotal evidence suggests you are far less likely to get caught than if you pay for DHL express shipping.
I've bought about 6 phones for myself and others over the last 4 years and no import charges.

Same here, only time I've paid duty was on a 200 quid quadcopter that I paid for express dispatch on but I had factored that in so I wasn't too bothered.

I ordered a Uhans S1 (brilliant phone too) from geekbuying which was about the same price as this and just went for standard free delivery. Took about 2 weeks and no duty to pay.

Why, mines working perfect.

Wait, why did you just mention a Ulefone Paris on a Ulefone Metal post?

I bought a Ulefone power and the glass cracked after 1 week, whilst it was in my front pocket. It was never dropped. In 5 years, this is the first phone or tablet that the glass has broken on. A few weeks on, the glass has cracked again in several other places across the screen, again whilst in my pocket. I think it's because the whole phone flexes.

anyone got this phone?
