Before I go any further this phone has band 20.

I thought this was an absolute cracker of a spec sheet for such little money only £152.51(excluding tax and customs)

It has and 6080mah hour battery, which I really don't understand why more manufacturers aren't doing this, I'd personally sacrifice the slimmest of phones for a monster 2/3 day battery.
(maybe that's just me)

Slim bezels (not that they are everything of course)
18:9 aspect ratio etc and so on.

This is aliexpress so always factor in customs etc.

I have the Ulefone power 2, on paper has great specs, in general I've found the performance poor and I wouldn't get one again.

I beg to differ - Xiaomi's are on a different plane to the rest of fhe lesser-known Chinese-sourced phones. Take the Mi A1 for instance, & their other mid to high-end models.

Unless, you bought a "Xaomi" (as you spelt it), which would make it a different brand altogether, or a fake Xiaomi.

As a person that's bought a massive amount of these Chinese phones and used all of them, I've grown pretty disenchanted with pretty much all of them apart from Xiaomi. And even Xiaomi has many problems.

So let's break down these specs

Picture with small bezels : going to be Photoshopped. The real phone will have nice chunky black bezels and look nothing like the picture.

6080mAh battery. Techtablets did a teardown of the doogee bl12000 or something like that, which claimed to have a 12,000mAh battery or something like that. In reality it was 2 4k batteries taped together. Nowhere near the listed spec. Also having 6080maH battery is nice, but with a mediatek processor and poor optimization the screen on time is not gonna be much more than 10 hours. You can get more from a Snapdragon redmi note 4x with. 4000maH battery.

6GB Ram : Cool, lots of ram. Probably is really really slow and poor quality knowing Chinese phones.

64GB storage : eh, not even that much. And it will be slow, probably around 100mb/s if your lucky. Does not lead to a snappy experience.

21MP Four cameras : bigger mp does not correlate to better pictures. You'll have pics that are bigger file sizes and take up more space on your phone. Four cameras probably only two of them are real, even so dual cameras is a massive gimmick if it doesn't have the proper software. And this a second rate Chinese phone we're talking about it, it won't have good software. The camera will probably take good photos in the light and be awful in low-light. Like most smartphone cameras. This phone will have 4 cheap cameras/lenses when it would take much better photos with just two high quality cameras. 4 cameras in a gimmick and only lowers the actual quality of the photos.

Android 7.1 : okay so no treble. There won't be any software updates for this phone past a month and won't be stable/good performance/energy efficient.

I don't hate all Chinese phones, I've owned loads and MANY are amazing value. Just don't go for phones that go massively overboard on PURE specs. It's easy to fake specs and still be low quality.

If you want a nice phone with a big screen and a big battery get a Lenovo p2 of a Xiaomi mi max. Just stay away from phones that have massively padded specs sheets like this, is a big red flag the underlying product quaility is bad.

Inb4 everyone says I'm hating on Chinese phones, tell that to the Xiaomi mi note 2 I'm typing on, and the stacks of amazing Chinese phones I've had in the past.

Looking at the specs, it seems the SoC is letting the whole phone down, they should use atleast a P20 or even better a 660

I've bought one Ulefone phone recently... Never again. Total carp.
Specs look good, but real world use? Awful.

Just because a phone has all these specs dosnt make it great because its parts are all cheap crap that dont work well together

Me too. The First Ulefone was great but the Power 2 is sometimes as slow as Moses...

Same. I sent mine back to Amazon. Get better battery life and quicker performance from the Redmi Note 4 I had before and the Nubia M2 I have now. Power 3 might be better I suppose but I'm in no rush to go back to Ulefone.
I had a Ulefone - a Be Touch 2 - for 2.5yrs. Unfortunately Ulefone aren't trustworthy - eg it NEVER had the Android release that it was meant to have from day one, let alone ANY maintenance of it; and it was about 3 months before the WiFi worked in anyway reliably. Phone was OK but once bitten twice shy ie I would never touch Ulefone brand with a bargepole again at ANY price/spec.
Alibaba are crooks who sell poor fakes and knockoffs, nearly as bad as Gearbest
Just for the battery size this is hot.

I have the Xiaomi MI A1 and it's as fast as my old OnePlus 3 and the build quality is as good if not better than the OnePlus 3 and other devices that cost 3 times the price of the MI A1.

Pfff balderdash. Made up nonsense. YouTube reviews show a very different story as do user experiences here where I’ve never read a bad review from the many here who bought one.

I hope they pack it well (jump to 4:46 for the madness)

I can't vouch for the Ulephone but the Xiaomi duel lense set up is fine for daylight photos but not so good for low light conditions but I must admit most if not all of the cheaper Chinese phones cameras aren't the best.
What's better this one or the ulefone power 3s?
I had very bad experience in past to buy ulay fone I will never ever buy or recommend to any one to buy ulay phone I bought xomi note 4 and it's amazing phone but it's camera is poor quality rest of phone is amazing I love it I recommend to those who are not big fan of pictures they should buy xomi note 4 or I any latest phone they will never regret

I agree with all of this! So many reviews of Chinese phones whereby the 2nd cameras are fake and the phones don't deliver based on their spec sheet. I have a Vernee Mars Pro which is OK, but it's not that stable and the camera is very average.
However, I would steer anyone towards Chinese brands such as Nubia, Xiaomi and Meizu. These manufacturers consistently produce quality handsets at affordable prices. Of course, Oneplus and Huawei come under that category but they're more mainstream now.

Own power 3s. Phone has lot of software issues. Phone died within 15 days. Warranty process is slow or non existent.

Accu battery estimated battery size as 1000mah less than advertised.

Sound issues during calls while using headphones. Poor camera.

YOUTUBE reviews all look like paid reviews.

Not recommended.
I had the original Power and the battery took ages to charge. Without decent dash charge a large battery is useless.
Have to agree. Bought a umidigi phone. Great specs, less than a year later and the screen has cracked (literally from a 2ft fall onto laminate), the phone was showing down beyond belief and getting a decent picture from the camera was impossible in anything but bright bright daylight. The screen was always a little weird and unnatural to use too.

Can't imagine the ulefone are any different.
I have never owned this phone make but sounds similar to elephone, which was great on tech specs but rubbish to use. GPS drifted so much you couldn't run a sat nav off it, the headphone socket lasts 2 months, and it wouldnt pass Google Security, so lots of apps thought the phone was rooted and wouldnt run (e.g. Banking apps).
It works a little better since i scrapped the rom and started with a new flashed rom, but still my Redmi 3 and Redmi 4x were/are much better
6080mAh is huge battery capacity but I'd still go for the tried and tested Xiaomi phones over this such as the Note 5.
I actually own the ulefone power 3 from last 2 months.... Never had any issues so far... Software is android 7.1.1
Super fast functions.... I'm average user of phone like browsing , watching 5-10 videos from YouTube, all my banking apps where working , very impressed with fingerprint scanner, basically battery is like beast 100% battery lasts me almost 2.5 days after these usage... Screen is big... Satnav is working absolutely fine... I mean it's very good phone to own at £152..... You even can't get basic model of Samsung at this price .... And it has top of the range future which can last you for another 2 years going....

Yes camera is not as good as Samsung or iPhone but yes it's decent camera ... Can take reasonable good amount of clear pics.... But again how much you can expect from £150 phone ??
That's my honest review for the same phone plus after me .. at my work... After considering these top features almost 5-7 work colleagues had ordered the same phones...
This is crazy everyone is commenting on how bad this phone is but they don't own it, so is just pure speculation.

I recently bought the power 3s being the watered down version of this phone for £127.

It arrived in 3 weeks, well packaged and no customs to pay.

The phone lasts for 3 days on one charge and has a very fast recharge.

I also personally think the performance is great and build quality is very good. Bottom line don't listen to all of the critics.
make sure to go look at reviews with actual pics of the phone, not just renders
I purchased 2 of these phones (for me and wife) and have been using them since early February.
I can't fault them. Battery lasts up to 4 days and so much faster than my MOTO G4. Wouldn't hesitate recommending.
Usual tat. Pretty much agree with comments above. There's a good reason you don't get these from major retailers or mobile networks. Stick to honor/Xiaomi if you want something high in the value for money stakes.
i bought an ulefone S8 pro earlier this year. sixty quid. its well built but struggles with 4g and the front camera is terrible. had the doogee x5 pro and that was much better.

thats me finished with "chinese" phones
Went from ulefone power 1 (great phone and no issues) to this with 3 months usage. Great phone, runs smoothly and battery life is very good, heavy use all day and I can't run it out. Camera is so so as is with majority of these Chinese phones, but still can take a decent photo in good light. My only niggle with ulefone is the lack of updates. My power 1 was promised a ota update from lollipop to marshmallow which never happened for the first batches. They just cobbled together a method of flashing it manually which I never bothered with. The power 3 was initially due to ship with oreo, this was changed to shipping with Nougat which I was aware of when buying. Update to oreo was said to be end of March but with only one ota update so far it is still on Nougat. I ordered this with the expectation if it never being on oreo from past experience. If it does get it that will be a bonus if not the phone is still brilliant. Oh yeah and the bezels are fake in a lot of photos so see real footage from YouTube to get a real idea.

Yes. You are absolutely right. Phones are supposed to be stress free and reliable which these are not. A few of my friends buy them to save some money. But I hear endless complaints from them. I prefer to buy samsung.. even a 2nd hand s7 has given me at least a year's good service. I haven't had to restore it once.
ULE be sorry
Utter tat and never will buy a cheap and marketed Chinese device like this again. Reviews online are obviously paid ones. No updates EVER from these Guys. They should be fined for mis selling products and lying about the specs. I sent it back and got the Kids a couple of Samsung Mobiles instead.
This is clearly a smart phone for the third world, not the UK.
