You won the 'Over use of the word specs' award for 2018.
I have a Mi Max and a Ulefone Power and cannot believe the rubbish the nay sayers write.

The Ulefone does not have NFC which to me is good point, if you don't want to be hacked out of your bank acount. Wireless charging is not there and I think eould be a good further selling point but it fast charges from the lead.

My Ulefone did not update automatically like the Mi max does, there is supposed to be a way of doing it manually but as I install hundreds of apps I did not want to ruin it and are quite happy as it is.
I don't get why people knock the camera. The camera is fantastic and the pics I have printed people have remarked how good the photos are.
The downside is that with a screen protector on you have difficulty seeing the screen in sun light and hence difficulty taking pictures outside in direct sunlight.
There are plenty of free camera apps if you want to play David Bailey.
My Ulefone appears to run faster than the MiMax and with some Sims works better and even WiFi reception is better than the MiMax.
To me the future is bigger screens so the MiMax wins, although the bsttery is smsller. if you are in the market for a phone right now I I would recommend Ulefone Power, all round fantastic specs and value for money.
With Aliexprrss you can pay the extra for the one year warranted for fixing in the UK, though I have never had to use them.

It's because NFC stands for

There are few videos on youtube which seems to suggest battery and gaming is not bad. The reviews below look good.

Looks alot of phone for the money, I'll wait for someone who owns one to comment, voted hot

Wow. Specs are some of the best I've ever seen in a phone and a great price if these are all true. Hot from me.
Hot, even if you can't get it repair if it's faulty! Super bargain!
Kinda torn between this and the max 2 now!

I bought a Ulefone just before I bought the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 and I was on the verge of shunning any Chinese phone. Ulefone phones are ok, but the Mi Max 2 is probably the best phone I've ever owned, I really recommend it if you are ok with such a massive screen.

MI Max 2 has ace specs, but no band 20
Max 2 is a bit dated these days.

I have one, typing this on it, fantastic phone. No malware/bloatware, very fast, good camera (I use Open Camera) although strangely (the Power 1 did have it) it doesn't have Camera2.0 API so no tweaking camera settings or RAW shooting for aperture bracketed RAW HDR shots. Not a deal breaker but hopefully they'll add it if it gets 8.0 update. Very highly recommended especially for £156

I own one, it's replacing my Ulefone Power (1), battery is amazing, phone itself does everything I ask of it.

Where is the best place to order from for faster delivery and not getting hot by customs etc?
some of the Chinese have fantastic spec and I had one in the past, but the only problem is I can't use my banking app on it.
This looks exactly like the Oukitel K6 I purchased for 150. Same specs. Probably exactly the same phone.
I have owned the Ulefone Power 1 and 2. You may get one update, but then no more. I'm stuck on Android 7.0 now with WiFi that keeps dropping out and Bluetooth that randomly won't pair.

The specifications are always amazing for the money, but don't expect much aftercare.
What's the point of that ram and cores if soc is rubbish?

Only 65k on Antutu! Almost 20k less than 2015 samsung galaxy s6 (82k)

Just saying...

Please don't buy this crap.

Ulefone are not a serious company, their phones tend to have terrible build quality beleive me.

Mine came from Ali express, less than a fortnight in transit & marked with a $20 value! I have used gearbest before with similar results.

I have TSB, Smile (Co op) & Nationwide banking apps on mine, all working fine.

Admittedly they may have improved since I last bought phone from them, however, I bought three Ulefone Paris phones and all of them developed the same faults.

They all developed screen burn in the same place, and the colours became way too flushed out which ruined them.

The screens were also attached with a crappy glue that eventaully became unstuck on all of them. The reason they did this was to make the screen look bezeless and thin but it just reduced the integrity of the device.

They also promised software updates that never materialised.

TSB app with a phone I had a couple of years ago, it said the software wasn't safe I think it was a security one. I take it from the above comments it does now, so maybe time to try another imported phone.
Probably had face ID before iPhone X

I had my eye on oukitel but it doesn't have gorilla glass. I don't think Vernee is good brand and it doesn't have 5V but 9V fast charging (may be someone can confirm this). At the moment Ulefone is bang on value for money among the three.

I wanted to get Mi Max 2 just because it is Xiaomi but no band 20 and huge size of the phone is a deal breaker for me.
Can anyone suggest where to buy quality USB type C cables and charger?
Check out a reviewer called S7yler on YouTube. His reviews are usually really well informed and he covers everything. Quick to respond to questions too.
I simply adore my ulefone T1
Went for the Chinese spec over standard brands last time. Went for elephone P9000 for around £150. Got NFC and Santander apps working OK. Need a bit of know how with these phones for ROMs and other tweaks. TWRP etc and flashing via MTK PC tools. You can stick with standard android but ota was.broke by elephone in earlier update. Pay the extra for certainty of a bigger brand if you can't or don't want to get into the likes of XDA, ROMs, flashing via pc.
