Was looking at this phone too, be interested to hear opinions.
Decent specs for the price. Heat from me.
Great find OP, yes you are taking a risk using Geekbuying and you'll have no warranty, but at this price I could afford to take the risk, but with cheaper end of the Chinese phones, cameras are often poor, so personally I would probably get something more well known for my budget. Heat added.
Give the dimensions of the phone wouldn't be surprised if the images have been doctored for the bezel sizes as is common with this type of phone
It's cheaper on AliExpress

It's cheaper on AliExpress

you got a link? cheapest i can see is £131.81

cheers.
Biggest selling point is the 6350 mAh battery, if true.

Would be surprised if the phone looks as thin as in the promo pictures in the OP's link.

Anyone have the phone in hand? For that price I'd take a punt. If 75% of the specs live up to expectations I'd be happy.

Unboxing vid here:

That looks quite nice. I've had an Ulefone mobile in the past (Be Pro). The power button went after about 2 years - was well pleased with it.

Very good for the price.

Review here gizchina.com/201…et/

But these companies Photoshoping all the images to make the bezels seem smaller is very annoying and puts me off buying.
I had a Ulefone - a Be Touch 2 - for 2.5yrs. Unfortunately Ulefone aren't trustworthy - eg it NEVER had the Android release that it was meant to have from day one, let alone any maintenance of it; and it was about 3 months before the WiFi worked in anyway reliably. Phone was OK but once bitten twice shy ie I would never touch Ulefone brand with a bargepole again at any price/spec.
What would be a better choice for around this price? Any of the Xiaomi phones?
Another review
Seems to be pretty decent for the price, reviewer suspects to be a fake second camera on the rear (and front) but apparently the 'real' rear cam is supposed to be very decent, even in low light! Finally a decent camera on a budget phone. Front looks average.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus is more, slightly better antutu score but smaller battery.
Dual sim OR single sim and Micro SD card, and none removable battery Heat added all the same.
Have the ulefone power 3 version of this, great phone. Had a ulefone power 1 prior to this and never had any bother. Have a look at YouTube to see a true representation of the bezel as the pics are not true to life.

I would not recommend Ulefone to anyone. There's always something that will let you down whether it's the 10 hour battery charge times, bloatware, spyware, cheap material etc. Much better alternatives out there.
I have the original Power. Yes battery was good but took an age to charge. Far rather have a small better with dash charge facility.

Also updates were slow and the phone could take 10 minutes to reboot and optimize apps sometimes. OK for the money but overall I wouldn't go near Ulefone again, it's not all about the spec sheet.
Decent all round. And battery is paired with a modern low power mid speed chipset.

This also charges at 3 Amps if you need to stress the battery.
I can agree with Kay, the main letdown here being lack of headphone socket.

Any suggestions for alternatives? I'm not overly concerned by the camera I have a good mirrorless lumix that can't be equalled by a phone. Just want a good screen for film playback and browsing.
The closest alternative was the P2 but that is no more. This is near 100% what people want. 1080p screen, low power and 3 day battery.

My first choice would be one of the many Xiaomi models that are available. They're always well received especially from the HUKD community it seems
Ive got one and had it for a month.

Pluses, FANTASTIC BATTERY LIFE. comes with all kinds of power connectors.
Seems pretty speedy despite unremarkable processor.

Negatives.
1. Processor is VERY unremarkable. Only ONE core runs at top speed. Tested with CPU-Z. The octo-core 'feature' is a scam as only one core runs at the max cpu speed. I think Nokia are doing something similar. This is power saving plan.
2. Comes with 2 pin charger with no UK adapter (Fail!)
3. It comes with Android 7.0/7.1 and I have my fingers crossed that it is upgradable to 8.0 or 8.1. Remember updates are IMPORTANT to keep your phone secure.
4. Delivery is SLOW SLOW SLOW. Took about 3 weeks to arrive. (Another fail!) However no import duties paid. Cost me £155 inc shipping.
5. Very hard to find any cases to fit. Assuming you buy it, take the offer of a free case as that might be the only one you'll find that fits.

Thanks for the run down.

I ended up going via Ali Express last weekend and got the black model with free case, screen protector and other cable accesories. I also paid the extra to use paypal for the buyer protection/ free return shipping.

Total cost was £129 after conversion, hopefully it's a small upgrade to my LG G3 which keeps dropping connection/ randomly rebooting.

Fingers crossed for no extra customs costs (they've put it down as $21 with plain packaging and called it a media player) also hopefully get the Oreo upgrade soon.

I'll report back when I receive - probably weeks from now

That is much the norm. Intels Burst mode is very similar too. You get the central task completing at an ultra fast 2.4Ghz whilst 4 cores can be run at 2.3Ghz. Its too hot to run 4 at 2.5Ghz.

If Ulefone are underclocking this to 2Ghz max then battery life gets improved much further and at only a small cost in speed.
What is your max CPU?

notebookcheck.net/Ule….0.htm This confirms major benefits of underclocking. Notice that the P25 at full speed can use double the wattage!

And the battery test shows 3 times the battery life of some top end stuff. Used right you could make this battery last 10 years easily.
