Wtf? Every phone should have an 13000mah battery.
However that would make every phone weigh around the same as a bag of sugar
Voted hot just for that battery

Its 290g according to this kimovil.com/en/…er5 not 330g still heavy but thats what you have to put up with for a once weekly charge i suppose
Just to give you an idea as to how big the battery is in this phone... the guy holding it in this review video is 19 ft tall and has hands the size of baths...he was also one of the giants in Gulliver travels

Wth. That would last like 4 days on moderate use? I'm guessing I would take that weight for that amount of battery. Need to definitely try something that weight in my pocket. Is this phone otherwise good guys? And is the seller good? I need a new phone ASAP

I have the power2, I get 4 days out of the battery

Is the phone generally good? I need a decent speed phone for browsing/video/WhatsApp/emails. Also what type of usage are you doing for 4 days? Also u reckon there'll be armour cases for the phone? Since I drop my phone quite a bit lol
Even if the phone is this this thick no headphone jack
this is actually a power bank with phone as bonus
A big battery is only half the story though.

I have had a Vernee X, 6200mAh battery with the same Helio P23 chip as this Ulefone. Based on my experience with that I'd say this phone would probably need charging at some point on day 5.

A Snapdragon 636 phone with an 8000mA battery would probably last the same length of time, and be considerably lighter.

But I'm talking rubbish really as there is no Snapdragon 636 phone with a super large battery...
Guys need opinions if I should get this? Im looking to spend £200 around on a decent phone just for browsing, WhatsApp, YouTube and emails. I'd prefer good battery size hence why this also it seems like a strong phone. Is Ali Express a good place to get it from and how long will it take to come?

edit: also I need GPS since I use maps quite a bit!

Ffs these Chinese phones are getting out of hand now with their big batteries that are insane. Heat added

For the price its good,
I have dropped mine a couple of times still good, no marks/cracks
for browsing/video/WhatsApp/emails its good
I don`t browse a lot on it but i guess you`ll get 2 days if you did a lot
fast charge also, about 90mins from zero to full, less if you have some battery life left

AliExpress is fine yes, if you buy cheap. I would say this is borderline in my opinion.
Always factor in customs on any aliexpress purchase.
The phone seems decent, but the processor puts me off.
Why not try a xiaomi mi max or mi max 2, 2 day battery life and just a great all round phone.

Go for it, I've got the Power 3 which I use with Orux Maps for walking with e.g. Strava and historic maps layers. You can hammer the GPS and screen and the battery will drop like 5 or 10% over the day. Amazing phone.

Thought this was going to be the "Power 3 Max", dunno what happened to the Power 4.

Actually you're talking bollocks, they use Pump Express 3.0 which is 3A 5V so it will do a full charge in about 3 hours (estimated, as the 6000mAh Power 3 does it in 90 mins).

Edit: It's 5V 5A charging and takes 2.5 hours.

Thanks for the response guys! It seems this phone is fitting the perfect description for what I want!

I'm concerned about the delivery though, I've never delivered from Ali Express and it says 43-63 days. How long does it actually take to come usually? Also it says ' Free Shipping to United Kingdom via AliExpress Standard Shipping' it doesn't mention any customs? How does that work and how much is customs if you get it?

Also do I have to select the 'Bundle' option?

Yeah, pretty much if you choose the standard delivery option it'll come between these times, mainly time spent in customs..

It depends on how much they declare the parcel is worth, I think you normally pay £12 customs and royal mail charge, if it comes through royal mail that is.

There's only one option bundle wise, so just add to basket and it should do just that.

I'm not advising this but have heard that if you email the seller to declare it is worth under £12 or whatever then it may get through without charge, I'm not advising this of course, as I pay all my taxes and customs!
not saying all ulefones are like this, but my ulefone s8 pro takes photos even ray charles would be disappointed in.

Ah I don't mind £12 for it to get here safely. Sucks that it'll take 43-63 days though ahhhh, I need a new phone, my phone doesn't charge properly and need to replace it ASAP. This meets my criteria perfect though so may go with the wait. I don't mind paying the £12 so it being like £210 max, as long as I don't get charged anything silly like over £30? Is that possible?

It is possible, but pretty unlikely.
Go for the mi max 2 on aliexpress at £150, less risk.

The features on the Ulefone Power 5 just seem too good to now choose the Mi Max 2 It could last for a few days compared to the Xiaomi. Also it would be faster etc due to specs and the camera seems like it would be better? Plus the screen size is just about too big for my liking with the Xiaomi. I was thinking about the Xiaomi before seeing this deal though

edit: if I suddenly get charged a lot on customs do I HAVE to pay it? I don't want to suddenly get unlucky and get fined so much for customs...

Why don't you contact the store and ask them do they help to keep customs fee down and if yes what value do they put on the custom declaration. You can also enquire about the delivery time being 43 - 63 days I think this may be because it is a new phone and only launched 18 days ago and this might have been the pre-sale delivery time and they have not changed it now it is on sale and in stock. To contact the store sign in to your account or register on aliexpress if not already, then on the product page put pointer on the official ulefone store heading on the top left of page a drop down box will appear and on the bottom of the box you will see orange envelope with contact now click on it and ask your questions if you do it tonight you may get a reply tomorrow as China are currently 7 hours ahead of us

4 is unlucky In China that's why we had oneplus 3 and then 3t and then the 5 no oneplus 4 due to this reason

AliExpress Negative. Three months for delivery through AliExpress Delivery . Plus 20 percent UK tax. Prepare to get hammered if you buy this from AliExpress. Nothing against the phone.
