Anyone ever managed to get these deals if you are already a customer?

A guy i work with does it every year without fail and changes his first name and last name on his account. One year he is "John Smith", Next year he is "Smith John" then repeat. Has done it for 7 years with no problems so must pass credit checks etc.

I do it every year too, but one year i live at the house, the next year i move out and the wife moves in. each year, repeat. So far we've had £400 cashback and my last one was an Xbox One S with 2 games in October. I wonder what deal my wife will get when she moves in this October...

Has anyone actually managed to get any decent bundles from Virgin as a new customer rather their usual promotions? Seems as if existing customers on retentions get amazing deals from what ive read
They have you round the short and curlies with their broadband speed. Utterly useless as a company though. I have tv, phone, broadband and mobile - had problems all year with all of them except landline. Maybe time for a change but with who is the question

I know exactly what you mean. Virgin TV box is a farce. Both our V6 boxes lock up randomly and need a restart. Sometimes refusing to talk to each other to play recordings from another box. Sometimes says network is too slow between the 2 boxes. How that happens is a mystery to me as they are hardwired.

Dont get me started on the router. That things drops out daily. the mount of times i use my mobile on WiFi and nothing loads then the little exclamation mark appears on my mobile to show WiFi unresponsive. Bloody joke. But they are a damn site cheaper than Sky.

Just book the new contract to start the same day your old one finishes. New contract in your wifes name because you are moving out, but because she wants to stay and has recordings on the box already, she doesnt need an engineer visit and she doesnt need new equipment. They just turn off your contract and turn hers on and she calls and pairs the boxes to her account.
14 yrs with Virgin media, reserche des temps perdu.
5 mins of reading that title and it still makes 0 sense to me
